So I noticed earlier that the poem here, reads better when skipping every other line.
I just put together that the first letters of those lines spell "the echoes".
So the answer we are looking for probably lies on the lines between those.

I should mention that I am taking that page as "where we came from" since it is the one labeled "tragedy".

edit: Here is a transcription.

(It's) in between the echoes (where you'll find me) wrote:

I couldn't possibly have always been like this;
Rorschach roulette violence.
in-and-out of pointless views
Give me a reason why I should cease
underneath the underworld
Canspiritsee?
Hereafter as splinternails
It's when you try to hide the monsters find you.

Edit: The first letters of these lines spells "iriguchi", which appears to be Japanese for "entrance".

Good eye, Delusional. I have been looking at these lines and trying to find anything out of it that I can. It got me looking back at the CSS for the page again and I noticed that the messages found in the CSS have been pushed together now. Are they trying to point something out?

It has been bugging me, "Beware numbers, count onLies." Why is the "L" capitalized and the words merged. Is it an anagram for "Leonis." I don't see a connection, but it bugs me.

Alright, I think I might have something. iriguchi means "entrance."
There are multiple ways to write this in Japanese, one way is "入口."
Did anybody take a close look at the pillar in the picture of the bike?
You find 入口 on the pillar, so the pillar must be connected to the entrance.
Perhaps, the face or something else holds the connection. That's all I have.

Perhaps, we must go to the page of the bike at the same time that is on the clock to find the next clue.

but I am using the windows GUI interface...

Something unrelated to what we are working on at the moment, but I wanted to note it.

Studio 1813
Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0001
JP

The number "1813" also appears above the "zig-zag" stair case image. Related?

Edit(Topic related): The Japanese above "entrance" was translated to "pay attention", there is an arrow directly above that pointing to the "face" which is also found on the 13 hour clock picture.

Emails

I found some emails related to the site I showed you the other
day, at http://nyzen.com.

I sent an email out to all three of the emails I found:
aaronSPLATnyzenDOTcom
miyaziiSPLATnyzenDOTcom
taroSPLATnyzenDOTcom

Quote:
Hello. I noticed your mobile art exhibit online. You had a gallery posted for the artist Random Martin. I have been trying to get in contact with Random Martin for sometime now. If you could give me any information on how I could get in touch with him or if you give him my email, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

I also put a Japanese translation of my email beneath the English text,
in case they didn't understand.

I got this response:

Quote:
I don't know his contact address Aaron might know.

I am waiting for a response from Aaron. These people seem to know
Random Martin IRL.

It's In Between The Echoes where you'll find me

Hey i am also new to this arg (and all others to be presice) but i was researching the Quote formed by the pictures and i found a thing. on a website that had some of the pictures from qu13e and the quote was
"See past the look, feel past the touch. Listen through the silence to the noise... ...it's in between the echoes where you'll find me." -Random Martin
could this be a clue?

Yes, it's part of what I need. Almost there!

And I have no sisters, who did you ask?

I had mentioned that her sister hadn't given up her secrets ....( the bike image)

is 入口 (iriguchi) the phrase you seek? I asked your sister to revel her secret but she continues to refuse me.

Well, Darth. That would be a yes and a no.
The nyzen site is OOG (out of game). Random martin is a real artist out there somewhere, and that site has been there longer than qu13e.
But that's strictly speaking.
Because if I hadn't have been familiar with any of his work, namely his frequent use of that line, I wouldn't have known to look between "the echoes".

Edit: About the puzzle, I don't know why but the punctuation stands out to me. I have noticed that there is a comma at the end of the first and last sentence, as well as the middle. Not sure that really helps...

I'll try to take a swing a editing the wiki to include known -rM quotes and other historical items in a way that will make them easy to look through.

Good idea. A lot has been found since the last time it was updated. I have
been using JPSeek on the bike image and have not been able to figure out
the passphrase. I am stumped.

I noticed something about the images the other day (referring to the hand,
bike, letters, etc.) In the html codes, the [img src] and [img alt] tags all use
the same names except for the image of the bottle of liqu13r. The image
of the bottle of liqu13r, oddly enough, has the same [img alt] name as the
image of the bike. For instance:

SRC | ALT | PG TITLE |IMG DESC
gsh10a|gsh10a--010108 = hand
g10sha|g10sha--151415 = wine prose
gs10ha|gs10ha--311007 = I am the key letter

hg01as|hg01as--111511 = bike
hga01s|hga01s--011103 = B&W sketch
h01gas|h01gas--311005 =canister spies sketch

aixgsh|aixgsh -- 311001 = binary goggles
agixsh|agixsh -- 011005 = rM letter
agsixh|hg01as --201921 = liqu13r

Could it be a distraction or a clue? He quickly spiralled into paranoia...

Darth, I just started in on this as the New Year hit, so I am in the same boat
as you. This ARG has been an on-going "game" for a few years, now. I
guess Randomeis is the only one that has been around since its inception. As
you noticed with the page you found, there are a lot of OOG (out of game)
references to Random Martin. Makes you wonder where the lines is drawn.

You can find the wiki at qu13e.despoiler.org. When you look at the wiki, the
Splash page holds all relevant information that has been updated to this
point.
