Hmm, come to think of it, I really dont think Jamie is *that* stupid. I dont think she thought Teddy would send her something poisonous, so she decided to eat it.

As for those saying she is stupid for not helping Teddy....honesty, if your partner was somewhat distant to you, and then sent this box claiming they had been captured by an evil corporation, which was 'doing something big' would you believe them? I certainly wouldnt.

Now I'm beginning to understand why all the previous videos made Jamie look idiotic. Perhaps the purpose was so that we would accept the idea that she would just eat something that she had been told not to eat. It still seems fairly lame - I mean how hungry can she be?

I'm not a good judge of these videos. The content has always annoyed me. So far Jamie is stupid, whiny and slutty. She isn't what I see as a great character...it makes me wonder what Teddy is like if they are a couple.

I'm with Rose here. (and probably some others) But really... Jamie... You think he's ditching you with a "story" about being kidnapped or whatever and he sends you something he tells you to refrigerate (or was it freeze?), calls it evidence and it says do not eat.

And she's gonna eat it why?? I mean -he could have sent her some new crazy glue that's made from endangered-animal parts as evidence for her to store and she's gonna eat it cuz she thinks he's lying?

Anyone else think she eats those "DO NOT EAT" packets they throw in with beef jerky?

Otherwise, yes, surely no adult on this planet would eat something they were unsure of (if they had a choice), let alone something with a warning saying "do not eat"!!!
Why even think someone is going to send you food in the post?? And how many kinds of food can be left just lying around without going rotten? (quite a few, but the majority can't be)

Maybe Mr. DSI Pants isn't angry, but all wacked out on synthetic nectar. He goes on his junkie tantrum and then chills out with some chips or something. Better yet, the whole movie is Jamie's drug trip and MGP is just a teddy bear.

If Jamie is this dumb, how could Teddy really fall for her? I mean, from what we've seen, it's insinuated that he has at least a modicum of intelligence, right? But I agree with Rose. Jamie was set up to be the 'dumb one' so that it wouldn't be seem too far fetched that she'd eat something labeled as 'evidence'.

If Jamie is in Cloverfield, then I don't believe she'll be in for long. Doing something that idiotic is a common act of the token 'redshirt'.

She's not a great character, but if she was just limited to the ARG I wouldn't mind. I mean, did anyone else here play The Lost Experience? Thank God she isn't another Rachel Blake. It might've ruined my whole interest in this thing.

the thing is that she's not just doing it cuz shes "hungry". She doesn't beleive a word of what teddy's saying, is mad as hell at himand wants just to piss him off and act against him, maybe get a response. Reverse psychology. I'm not defending her; she's just as stupid as a 5 year old, whose teacher says "Don't eat the glue!", and she thinks "My teacher is a doodoo-head! I'm gonna eat this glue!"

It seems like its popular speculation that the DSI in Slusho has been filtered, extruded, altered, mixed, etc.
Well what if the DSI is Slusho is pure, but the [possible] DSI that Jamie has is the stuff that's been tampered with? What if Tagruato was experimenting with it, trying to alter it in some way, and this is what Jamie consumed? That would help explain why it isn't reacting in any of the foods it's consumed in (at least in the same way some speculate, ie explosions).


In reality though, I'm not sure how much the DSI will be used in the movie, aside of possibly a passing reference to appease those who followed the ARG, an "easter egg" if you will.

She's being spiteful here, is all. Not a really smart move, though - she must be on some kind of drug to eat something wrapped up in foil, that has been sitting in a box since God knows when, then sitting on her floor (assuming she didn't freeze it) for a month. Her uppance will come....

For the record, her relationship with Teddy (and it's been mentioned before) was not based on anything real, except for the physical. I still think Teddy may have been using her, but he really could have picked a sharper tool in the box as his contact....unless he wanted this reaction from her, just to get rid of her or see how the pure/tampered (who knows which) DSI would react in humans. That would really be evil.....

Or perhaps this could all go down like that horrible season of Dallas, when Bobby wasn't actually killed, it was all a dream.....that would suck.
