Well...it's fun to do it anyway Very Happy
Also, I don't know if the thread starter actually knew the Effect was OOG. I feel old for being here back when "the Effect" was just an idea..even though technically I'm only 2 months old on this forum

well then who the fuck cares if the effect responded. pfft.

Because not only has another ARG actually been altered by a fan-sent email, it also adds another layer of depth to the ARG by having the fans participate in the storyline...which is basically how most ARG's work.

yeh.... but...with the end of this arg within a week....do you really think they are going to randomly include it? doubtfull.

Who says that the ARG is gonna end in the following week?
This could just be the beginning, we know that we're most likely not going to get the answers we want in the movie. The movie would be the perfect Jump Start to a great full blown ARG.

I think it already been said but I find it highly unlikely that all the "plot holes" in this ARG is going to be fulfilled in the movie.

I am new here... and I've barely posted.. I was more afraid of being trouted than anything else Embarassed

If it is truly OOG my apologies but it seems others here find it plays very well along with the story.

PLEASE... THAT'S NOTHING- I'VE 'ALTERED' THE ARG TOO... anyone remember the comment from Notyalc?

Quote:
I used to be a Environmental and Resource Analyst, charged with monitoring the amount of intake of the deep sea petroleum/Kaitei no mitsu [Seabed's Nectar]. When I first started out at the Jimmu Station things seemed promising, things were as they should be. Then in 1993 I was transported to the Itoku Station where I would do the same position, monitoring the amount of resource we were excavating, but with a higher pay grade. As the years progressed, I noticed a sharp rise in Kaitei no mitsu we were pulling from our earth. I called the Tagruato Corporation headquarters to report it and they simply said to pretend it wasn't happening. Pretend it wasn't happening? I began writing letters to the G.E.F. [Global Environmental Facility] but it seemed, and I felt as though my letters weren't getting through. Nothing could stop Itoku from draining the region of this precious resource. Until the accident in the summer of 1997. Many people were injured and some even died. I don't know how it happened, but the lower levels of the facility were literally destroyed, but I bet you won't find that on the Tagruato website. Eventually, before the end of the year, I put in my resignation simply stating that family matters were causing my abrupt renunciation.

that's me... Some of you even suspected it to be 'IG'.

I always loved the idea of incorporating the 'Bloop' into the game- hence the parallel date of the incident.
