There's definitely SOMETHING behind the smoke. Rob and Beth are looking up at it in shock (unless it's a well spliced together scene comprised of two scenes...they've done it before).

from what i understand there should be any splicing or edits other then when it looks like the camera turned off (in the new interview)

I meant within the ad itself. Like they did with the military firing and then a scene of the monster from much earlier in the film.

 		I just saw it. It was crazy. With all the smoke and Flashing lights. It was really fast though. Did'nt record it but i'll record it if they show it on MTV. Very Happy

 		That one looks similar, but, actually, the one I saw had the narrator saying something like, "On January 18th, experience the event of a lifetime." And, I think there was more new footage in the one I saw...this one looks like it has too much of what we've already seen (although it does have the smoke/monster part).

I believe the ad was within the first half hour of the show.

Hey, I'll admit it. I was bored and Real World was on. Looks like it paid off a bit. haha


Well good news of sorts, the spot just aired on some weird show called "Made" and did record it, (so don't have to wait until TRW), however, it's the same spot as the video a few posts up.

I viewed it several times and a bit of new dialogue from an Army Officer...he says "We're taking one last shot at this thing, if that doesn't work, they'll level Manhattan".
Dialogue is spoken during the quick clip of heavy arms fire between two buildings at the Monster...but nothing to see that gives anything away, just some movement in a lot of smoke.

Either way, I'd like to see it again...the fact that I haven't seen it (except for the low-quality one above, which I still don't think is the *exact* same) in 4 1/2 hours is driving me crazy.

 		i just saw the spot on NBC at 1:18AM during conan, can't say its the same as above, but it had the tnnel scenes breathing the whole time almost and the tag lag, "The only thing that will take your breath away...Cloverfield"
