To me, the funniest thing about reading that interview was how JJ described
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the monster's "downright angry" or should I say, grumpy, attitude. I guess our nickname, Mr. Grumpy Pants, was pretty darn accurate all along.

JUST WONDERING Can we PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASE STOP CALLING IT MR. GRUMPYPANTS NOW??? It's being called
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Clover... [is that really even a spoiler?]
now, which means that the creators of the monster probably scoffed at the idea of it being named 'MGP'.

Seriously...that AITC guy was right. His writing style is hilarious...but I doubt I would have taken him seriously had I read this back in December. If anything this makes me want to see the movie even more...if that's even possible.

I think one of the biggest spoilers in the OP's find was that Clover was down there for thousands and thousands of years... This dispels alot of rumors that Tagruato made him and such.

I'm sorry but what is the point of spoiler tags ina thread marked spoiler?
Is someone going to want to read the comments on spoilers but not the spoiler? The comments say as much as the spoiler.

^^^ makes a point... I mean, if you REALLY don't want to know anything- don't open the thread.

I really don't see the point. The thread is marked. Frankly it just makes it a pain to read.

I'm using it for safe measure.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I like the whole back story of Rob and Beth. I was worried that they would add no background the the characters, making the movie bland.

I like to skateboard w/o a helmet... safety/schmafety.
[My favorite part]
"He's a baby. He's brand-new. He's confused, disoriented and irritable. And he's been down there in the water for thousands and thousands of years."
Alien or not, the fact that it's ancient makes me happy enough.
I still want to know where the Deepsea Nectar ties into it all. I also want to know where the 'broken chunk' of the satellite [ChimpanzIII] ties into it all. maybe it was a red herring?

Well this pretty much confirms the review done a month or so back on AITC news. Especially with the monster scratching it's back thing on a building.
That and the "flashback" stuff with the pre-recorded stuff on the tape.
