3 letters is a big difference. It could be the difference between Innercity and intercity. Or Rape and Rave. The point is, a similar word isnt really evidence of anything.

As far as I can gather инопланетным means foreign.

 		Could have been born here, back...way back...thousands of years..before the dinosaurs even(dinos could have been the smaller, evolved versions of this creature) who knows! Guess have to wait and see if they provide the origins later as Tagruato will want to get its hands on this creature(Might be able to with Bold Futura equipment).

well, it looks like if the movie does well, jj has set this up for
multiple sequels. Hell, he's got so much material that he
didn't even scratch the surface, pun intended, on back story. Not to mention this can be told from so many different points of view, the
possibilities are endless.

Absolutely
I hope that the ARG/E will continue at least until the release of the DVD... that will allow for explanation of the origin of the creature.. JJ could create a real contribution to movie history with the story... especially to the monster movie genre... but he could fall flat on his face with this, too...

sequels will be hard to do with the same mystery... re-imagining is possible, but its hard to re-create what he's done here...

take the Matrix. The sequels were great, great SFX, epic, but the original will always be known as having the suprise factor, that "wow" effect really only comes from the first one. The sequels had to live up to something that nearly impossible, give me that WOW again

I dont see any sequels doing as good as Cloverfield on that level, but I do see the possibilty of good sequels that entertain us with a kick-ass monster
