 		[TROUT][RANT]THE GOODBYE THREAD!!!!!
this is for everyone who has been involved on this viral marketing ,not ARG for longer than a week. i have had a blast reading and posting and searching with you guys. this is just really a big let down that the work we put into this is for nothing. if we can find a real game that the same group can get in on will play that would rule. so until then im gonna hang and post with some of the people who made this fun for me. i think starship said it best earlier....." sounds like a rancor" and yes its that pathetic sounding...damn jj turned this into a worthless hunt for nothing. at least the real people here are some of the coolest ive chatted with online in a long long time. cloverfield clues you guys from there are awesome and all the mods here thanks again. sorry we wasted alot of time but hey we all had fun too bad no payoff.....thanks for reading my rant and i hope you guys leave post here for everyone to read and maybe PM will see this and feel like douchbags that they are!

 		Now, even though I've only been on here for a day, I've been been an Administrator over at 1-18-08news for over 4 months, and have over 2,000 posts there.

All I can say to you guys here, is that I hope it doesn't make you NOT watch the film. The film is still going to be awesome, but yeah the viral stuff does kind of seem useless since we know

... oh well though. I'm a traditional Giant Monster movie fan, so I just want to watch the film.

BTW...the monster isn't a Rancor......it's not going to look anything like it....so I don't know why you guys would think that....even with LCs description it still doesn't sound like the Rancor...

 		I wasn't a member on this forum before tonight. Mostly followed Night Owl stuff back in the day and lurked on CloverfieldClues. But I did have a good time following this thing since the Transformer's release when we got our first taste of a real movie trailer. And who can forget ethanhaas... heh

I saw the movie tonight and it was great. Go see it.

The only thing that made me sad was that the hunt was over. I was not disappointed by the monster, plot or anything like that. The lack of the viral stuff in the movie was kinda disheartening. I kept explaining with my friend about Slusho! and the Myspaces and basics about the companies before the movie started and when nothing became of them, I was kinda bummed.


Enjoy it for what it is guys. And if you're reading this thread before the spoiler threads, DON'T READ THE SPOILERS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO! Hold steady!

Here's to hoping more movies come out that get us as excited as we got for this one....

Not only do you perpetuate it, you accentuate it. I hadn't noticed that one comment when I quickly scanned over the post to reclassify this, but now I've seen it. Did you really help things?
