Well, Nate's finally ran now. Just got this from Bobby:

Well I don't think Nathan told us where he was going, did he? I mean, if we don't know anything we can't really help Bobby anyway. So we don't have to choose yet. That being said, if Nathan does tell us where he is I vote NOT to tell Bobby.

I agree. I feel Bobby has another reason for wanting to bring those demons through and I don't think it's for the reason he says. (just my 2 cents.) If Nathan can destroy that crystal then he will be freed and no longer has to hold the door open for the demons to pass through. (If, I'm reading this story right.) Therefore, the only demons we would have to deal with are the only ones already hear; Falthis, Bergeru, Andras (is she already here?) and the toughest of them all Bobby/Satan. And I think we're going to need Nathan's help for that. But first we got to help him destroy that crystal so the others can't come through. I may be misreading this story and I feel sick right now, so overlook me if I'm talking way off base.

I'm not sure what Nate's current email is though, so one of you guys would have to send it.

On another point, didn't Nate sign a contract? I doubt demons would leave one, but maybe there's some sort of loophole.

Seriously, does Bobby actually believe that Nate could help his cause now? There is no way Andras is going to give him the Focus Sphere again and put him back on Stopping duty with a nice pat on the back saying, "Now don't you run off again, you hear?" What does he think this is, Cool Hand Luke? I smell poo poo all over this.

Interesting developments-- So Bobby's going to finally officially come out with his plan to Nate... Nate already seems to know the basics of Bobby's plan, but it would be interesting to have them actually talk openly about their respective strategies. (Unfortunately, that would likely also involve Bobby catching up with Nate, which could be bad, but anyhow...)

As for location-- yeah, Nate didn't specify where he'd run to on the phone, although he did briefly mention that he'd gone to Houston last time, and that that was likely the first place they'd look for him. It wasn't clear if that meant he just needed to be extra-careful when he went to Houston this time, or if he was going to avoid it entirely.

Also, as for whether Nate would still be useful for Bobby's plan-- since Nate is the only one (so far) who can open the portals at all, it seems like Andras needs him alive and Stopping... So if they catch up with Nate, it seems like they'd have to still let him handle the Focus Sphere to bring the other demons over, but probably keep him captive/chained/caged/whatever while he does, instead of giving him the relative freedom he had last time...

Edit: Oh, also-- highwind, you asked about Nate's current email? The last one he's been using is the Canandeath one (canandeathSPLATgmail.com)-- I sent him some research a day or two ago via that email and he responded, so it seems to be the current one... I guess we should let Nate know who's on his trail, and where they're hunting for him?

Heh, I'm in California too, so count me in on smashing the sphere if he can manage to get out here. Plus, he can turn himself temporarily invisible now, so public transportation might be a possibility after all...

Wow, did I miss a lot. I also received the email from Bobby asking for help to find Nate. It seems like nothing good can come from Bobby finding him, he is still going to bring him back, so I vote to not help Bobby. I just can't trust someone whose whole plan revolves around trapping someone else???

I am in NC, so I doubt Nate will be heading my way, but if he does decide to try the east coast I will be here to help.

Got an e-mail from Bobby just saying he was starting his hunt for him in earnest today and he would let me know if there was anything I could do to help.

Nate also e-mailed saying he is safe for now and will send us the runes soon.

I contacted Nate, about Bobby's tracking of him. He was nearly caught today thanks to Bobby's Calling, but managed to stay hidden. I've also tried to misdirect Bobby in the direction that Nate specified.
On another note, I am now known as Hamaliel, Chieftain of the Principalities, an Archangel, and one of the Ten Holy Sephiroth who protected innocents.

Hmm, so, I was thinking... Bobby knows a fair amount about the demons and their workings, so maybe we can get some information from him about the feasibility of Nate's plan. I mean, if Bobby really is who he says he is, and stopping the demons is really as easy as destroying this one crystal, why didn't the angels/good guys make this a priority a long time ago? Did they somehow just not think of this? (Seems unlikely...) So, I was thinking of sending Bobby something along these lines:
