actually it is. Tons of people have seen the movie and this art is based off what they saw. And the people who saw it said it was very close to what it looks like. and that parasite is the real deal

These pics do NOT do the movie any justice. You WILL say HOLY S--T!! when you see the parasites the first time and also when you see the monster. Even with all these descriptions on the forum and the concept art behind it, you will STILL be surprised at the awesomeness of the movie...i guarantee it Wink

Exactly. That thing is a walking freaking tank. Nothing and I mean could stand in its way. A Nuc would be the only thing I can think of that might take it down.

Sarcasm. Trust me, if you'd spent any amount of time more than a week on these boards, you'd get it.

Personally, I think the whale monster would've been killer if it was a godzilla-type movie (as in, there's an asian in a labcoat telling us what the creature is, and there are long looks at it and such).

It just looks like it couldn't move too fast.

Those are concept art. There's some similarity hear and there, but he looks more messed up. Not really like an artist would draw a cool looking monster. At least from the bits you can see through the movie.

He doesn't seem to have scales, ridges or a hard protected back. The smooth headed one has something there with the vestigial limbs, but the forlimbs should come out of his back and almost have backwards elbows. They seem really long in the movie, and he can push him self up high with them, or reach out far.

the photo is fuzzy as they'd like it, and moreso since I blew up a jpg more than the original, but you can still see the bulk of the thing. It's very strange looking.

The closeup head art in this thread has some potential, the elongated neck seems right, the face isn't spot on, needs more teeth, bigger mouth, maybe a little less human shape to the skull, but . Big kudos to the artist though, they all look great. If I had those skills my drawings at the review on kidreviewer.com wouldn't suck so horribly.

 		I like the top picture...the second picture and the "sexual pincers" are kinda shark like. Apparently, according to discription they should be higher...but if thier funtion is sexual they should be lower, like a shark. Other wise what is the purpose?

I do not like the rendition of the "parasite" firstly, according to the lists these things have jaws like the deep sea angler fish. I do not think this rendition fits.
