Well if the operator is being reassembled by the spider, as seems to be happening given the new info (repeated references to the spider right alongside continued lamentation about being made of sand), then I think it's reasonable to assume the Operator is the Queen.

i think we're dealing with more than one AI here. it seems like whatever is responding to the emails to ladybee777 is distinct from both SPDR and the queen, and isn't to fond of either of them.

my guess is that the email reader is the Operator. from the conversation with the ONI operator, AI get given jobs based on their favorite game. the operator loves hide and seek, which would make her perfect for spy/ assassin missions. the queen talks about how SPDR should focus on the Assassin and not worry about repairing her first.
