Without Giving Away Too Much... What's the best line in the movie? (If you've already seen it, of course) Pretty simple. Which line stood out to you the most? Dialogue in a movie is often very memorable. It takes one key catch phrase to sum up an entire film experience. Which one was your favorite or most memorable from Cloverfield?
I know Hud delivers many good ones.

It's a bit early for this thread, don't you think? Only about 4 people have seen the movie.

Not really. Slowly as those who get to catch the movie digest it they can post about it. In the next few days that number will increase and the thread can linger.
Basically I like to see the progression of what people think about the movie. Most everyone is discussing concrete stuff. (the monster, the characters, etc.. ) I think the aesthetics are a big part of it too. What people take away from the movie. How they felt, etc.
And if the thread fades.. I can always.

fav line by HUD My favorite line was by HUD: "It's something terrible."
Doesn't sound funny out of context, but it brought laughs in the theater when he said it and the way he said it.
He says it in answer to Beth's "What is it?", or something like that.

The best line was when Marlena was sitting on the curb after the first attack and said "It was eating people....It was eating everyone."

I cant really pick one favorite line. Hud had so many that i cracked up over. Probably when he suggests climbing up the one building to get to Beths apartment, and then when they agree , hes like no ,never mind, bad idea, no one ever listens to me

1. " Wow, you know about Superman?"
2. " I'll....document it."

Yea the whole superman part was pretty funny. I loved Marlena for being such a smart ass. She reminded me attitude wise so much of my wife, shes exactly the same way

"What's That?'
"Something Terrible'
'What is THAT?'
'Something Else...Also Terrible."
