FYI:
Don't expect to just start hearing things in the receiver .swfs at 8pm after having pre-set them, earlier.

They'll likely replace the receiver .swfs at 8pm requiring you to get updated copies from the dearther page at that time.

(Their way of keeping us from decompiling the flash files to get the info earlier than they intend.)

last week at exactly 8pm the transmission started...I didn't log off, I had it on for about 10 minutes with the recorder set and ready.

has it started? I can't seem to find it. Although my DownloadHelper plugin for Firefox did pick up a file called soundtwentyfour.mp3, which is a transmission starting with "This is broadcast from the US government"

Here's the MP3 file I pulled off the site, not sure if it's a new one or not. When I went to the deatherer site, a Firefox plugin I have that checks for file formats any page references to detected the file.
Edit: I just confirmed, this is the new file:
soundtwentyfour.mp3
Description  MP3 file sound_twentyfour.mp3
mp3

 Download
Filename  soundtwentyfour.mp3
Filesize  660.74KB
Downloaded  808 Time(s)

So apparently the broadcast is time-zone controlled. I didn't hear anything at 5PM (8PM Eastern), but just before 8PM my time (Pacific) I started hearing it.

Just FYI for next week.

Message was from US Government in Cheyenne.

Lots of talk on resoring phone lines and cell towers.

The 4 long tones

I had a hunch about the 4 tones in the beginning of the message, after the 1K test tone.

I took a few spectral analyses of the tones (each one, 4 times). I got the following tones 647Hz, 1961Hz, 819Hz, 647Hz.
I only bring this up because 1961 doesn't 'match' with the tone heard. The second tone is lower, yet the spec says higher. Don't know if it means anything, and I also don't know how it could have been done.

So they're habituating us to tune in at the show's regular day and time?

Yes, mortality. But initially, we thought that the broadcast from the Cheyenne Government was a "live", one time occurrence; happening at 6pm MT concurrently across all time zones. Apparently, that's not right.
We know that someone on the east coast of the US can hear the broadcast at 8pm EST, and that someone on the west coast, can hear it at 8pm PST.
It's a little confusing.
I'll edit the topic title to reflect this.

I listened long and hard here....are there subtle clues emended...like checking local weather patterns...what was the site that showed the sat images? It's the only site I don't have bookmarked...also education and food distribution...sacred heart has a school section...I'm grasping at straws, but could the messages have hints about where to look next?
