[TROUT]An origin of MGP? maybe Tag.. hmmmm... I was just having a thought, and perhaps Tag knew about the MGP. As in perhaps maybe they had known or heard he was out there in the ocean somewhere, and they were setting up stations around the world to zero in on his location. Maybe they had an old text that mentioned him? they could use him for scientific purposes? Maybe Tidowave knew about MGP too and were trying to keep his location a secret, like the ark of the covenant kind of. And MGP could have terrorized other civilazations in the past. I hope this isn't trout material.

I won't trout it either, but isn't setting up multiple multi-million-dollar drilling rigs an expensive way of "zeroing in" on MGP's location?

yeah that can be expensive ,but for the discovery of a lifetime a huge company would do it.

This reminded me of those two video's that came out a few years back where they discovered ancient giant creatures. I think one was found in Siberia buried in snow and the other on a beach in India under the sand and a Tsunami exposed it. I do not remember the exact details so please forgive me if I am wrong. I will see if I can find the video's.
Edit: Totally fake but very cool.

I'm thinking Ganu would first send out one of his people to buy a Sonar rig at the local Katsubi Wal-Mart for $29.95...
Although, that could explain why they sent up that satellite, if they were trying to detect it that way.

Oh yeah, it was a great marketing idea. I wonder if Bad Robot was inspired by it at all?

[TROUT] I have no words... This has already been discussed, by uh... you... here:

I won't even mention the idea of searching. It's pretty bad when you trout yourself. SuperSquirrel's link trouts the details you may not have included in your original thread, but the synthesis of the two basic ideas does not a new thread make.

well..ahem my other theories are about the stations being holding pens, not about Tag being on a search for MGP for scientific purposes, or about TIDO protecting MGP, or about learning about MGP from an ancient text. This post is a theory of mine but in no way shape or form is directly connected to my old theory about the parasites hitching a ride on MGP to get to shore. You say I got trouted, but i say you just got sturgeoned!
