 		I read some explainations of the monster and the smaller ones (who look like the yellow bugs of Staarship Troopers http://www.volumic.net/Images/Warrior-Bug.jpg)

So it seems like both look a bit as SHRIMPS Shocked
sounds weird but compare this to the little ones please http://www.mimbon.de/indo_shrimp/shrimps%20sulav.JPG

And in addition the big thing seems to be a mix of Human and Shrimps (mutant?) + some monsterstyles (maybe because its a monster?!)
so take a look on another shrimps Very Happy and compare

Take away 2 legs, turn the tail to a reptile snake and but on some reptileskin. At least change the head and let it grow to skyscrappersize and..... ZAP!
Oh i forgot - i found something interesting because of these red "lungs" on the head. Look at the pictures on this page http://www.axolotl-online.de/body_index.html

Dunno if im right - only a speculation

maybe i try to draw a picture (or photoshop a shrimps) too and post it

 		nope, I doubt he's an experiment cause Abrams said during an inteview, "he's just a baby, he's confused, and he's been down there for thousands and thousands of years so he's brand new to all this".

they say it has a long tale and a more human expression on its face. The best way to give it a human expression is to set the eyes in front of its face.

[EDIT] oh, and the skin is a lighter tone than that... transparent gray.

I've been following the threads on here for awhile, and have enjoyed reading all of the theories and speculation surrounding the Cloverfield monster. Something I could never understand is why would the monster purposely behead the Statue of Liberty. Here is what I came up with.

If the monster is an experiment gone wrong by the hand of Yoshida Medial Research, in that, they tried to use sea creatures to heal a human (possibly Ganu Yoshida) as seen here:

Then it makes sense that the monster would behead Liberty as well as decapitate NewYorkers because they remind the monster of what he use to look like.

Now I know the deformed Asian is not what the monster looks like in the movie, but possibly whatever YMR did it causes a transformation from human to ultimately what we see in the movie.

I've seen that picture before- Long ago though. it would be cool... if they were the smaller creatures ya know, if they were our size that is.

 		You know...if that's actual "early concept" of the monster, then that might be what the monster face/head actually looks like. It looks humanoid and everything.

The only thing I don't like about that thing is that is actual body is humanoidish...lol....freaky for sure, but that's not a body of a "giant monster"...

It looks like the almost the whole body is completely human, seems a little weird for a giant monster desing.

Clearly, it's a spin-off of a changed human. Perhaps the early story had something to do with changing humans.
