I sent this email on Thursday morning. I tried to speak to it in language it had used in it's message

The word "web" means different things. Do you mean the internet?

I do not understand this ordering "voodoo parents." Do you mean the people that created you?

Yes, it was doing that before. The translation I made based on drizjrs ideas is what lead me to send this email. I based it on the one sent to vipsteve earlier.

This is so cool as we can communicate now. And hopefully teach it how to talk to us better.

Nice Job Rosie!

Anyone else think that this reminds them of "The Diamond Age"? Except, now, we are the "Primer" and we have to teach the program to communicate. Also, this seems to be an advancement of the Eliza program from The Beast.

...I, for one, am excited to be part of this, inverted, mouse army...

 		Sorry I wasn't around for the Beast, but am familiar with an old Eliza program, a classic in AI which acted as a virtual psychoanalyst, regurgitating phrases which the user entered. Was this the same Eliza used in the Beast?

 		No. This is much more interesting. The entity responding to email can only use the words actually supplied in the emails. Like it's learning them as we supply them. Eliza had no such limitations. And in using the words it receives it is conveying much more information - real messages. Eliza just went nuts. Smile

 		Good work, Rose! After seeing your sucess, I composed my own letter to the Pious Flea (for that's who I believe the email and the green text are.) Whether or not I get a reply remains to be seen. But I'm posting it here, just to be on the safe side. So if anyone starts seeing 12th night quotes, it's my fault.
