Ditto that Jook. I live about 5 Min Away. Anyone interested in an informal Unfiction get together "pre-game" before the party?

Hey do you think that the "Dark Room" will be hosting a regular night besides the Cloverfield Party? Lol I say we just show up over there and be like " Hi we are here to drink" and if they say its only for Cloverfield Party people, we say...Cloverfield? what is that. I didn't know anything about an exclusive party Very Happy

I got the call on Friday while I was at work. The problem is when I asked the chick if there was maybe a screening of the movie after or if it was just a meet and greet with the cast, she said she wasn't at liberty to say. I had her keep my name on the list but I'm still wrestling with whether or not I want to use up all my frequent flyer miles to travel 1,742 mi to go to a party at a bar. The contest rules even state that the retail value of the prize is $5 (even though no one can probably get in unless they're on a list.) I'm just as obsessed with this movie as all of you guys, but I think I may just go see it at midnight on the 17th. I think I'll save my miles for something a little more adventurous, like Vegas Spring Break.

$5, huh? That sounds about the price of a movie ticket.

Where? In 1989? It sounds more like the cost of the cover charge...

A $3 difference of an estimation seems pretty menial, then again when the estimation is $5 I guess it's a bit less menial.

Im very close to buying a plane ticket, but If its just a meet and greet then what's the incentive to fly across country to go hang out at a bar with B list actors.
The only one I'd be after to shake hands with is JJ.
I agree with you New Yorkers. I'd gladly hand over my invite to one of you who live in Manhattan. When I RSVP'd I didn't read the rules and thought it was an all inclusive trip.
If someone can figure out how to pass on my invite let me know.
OR if someone knows whats the real deal with the party, then PLEASE let me know if its worth it.
