[OT] Pirate DVD Copies

Someone just walked up to me in a North London Street and asked if I wanted to buy any DVDs. Nothing odd in that, happens all the time. But I did spot the familiar poster artwork of Cloverfield in there.
I didn't buy it. It probably wouldn't even be the right movie, if it was it would be rubbish quality and it's also very illegal.
And the movie isn't even out until 1st Feb over here...

If you see him again, buy one for me or I'll kill you in a most brutal manner. I'll pay you back.

Well, the pirats are powerfull, even if uncool. After "Kill Bill 1" hit German cinema, a friend of mine was travelling somewhere in Poland. And he found there "Kill Bill 1" DVD. With a lot of extra.

And the weirdest extra was full version of "Kill Bill 2".

But people, it isn't so cool I think (even if I don't belong to that shark-alike producers, who caused the screenwriter strike).

Anyway, I'll wait for official DVD of Cloverfield. And I hope, this DVD will rock with all the extras and stuff, elsewise this would be the last Paramount Pictures DVD I've ever bought.

Yeh, but this is instead of me seeing at the cinema, which I can't do.

OK, it could be reasonable.
The movie distribution is nowadays still miserable.

I know it from Germany: tons of good movies don't reach us... And very often the movies I can see in our cinema are really lame.

I would have definatley bought it and watchedl ie kthe first five seconds of it to see if it was real just the Paramount logo and the the title slate. Then if it was real i would have watied until the movie came out so after i came home from watchign the movie i woudl watceh continously until the real DVD. But also i notcied most piraters donwload teh movie file off P2P websites and burn it on the DVD. But i have to say after i see it five times in the cinema i am buying the pirated DVD. I am also going to record the movie on my phone just the audio and make atranscrpit and post it here MAJOR SPOILER TAG of course.
