cool photo.
And the blurring definitely is hiding something.
It's just really difficult to see what is behind it.

My Crazy Ass Observation
Has anyone else noted that the entire bridge section looks to be completely unattached from the ship, almost like it was thrown, possibly from another ship (would explain why the bridge appears way to close to the bow)

You could also assume the ship was crushed from the middle, bring the back and front closer together, destroying the middle below the water...Such like an empty beer can...

IDK how big the monster is but if the spoilers are correct...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I dont think our monster destroyed the oil rig and this tanker. Ieman the oil rig was pulled down by something. I can't picture Clover using his two hadns pulling it down unless its super strong. The mosnter looks week but i have to see the movie.

We've already seen how it's...
1) Strong enough to tear off the SOL's head.
2) Strong enough to demolish the Woolworth building just by walking past it
3) Strong enough to demolish the Brooklyn Bridge
Besides... you have no idea exactly what happened underwater at Chuai. He probably didn't have to do much effort for the station's own weight to make it implode.

Well, if our MGP didn't do this, we have another monster on our hands. Otherwise there is no explanation for the "claw" marks on the side.

Do we have confirmation that htis monster definatley has claws. I also posted my own thread about my theory. BUt is it possible the monster seen in previews isn't the final monster.

Considering the claw marks on the back of the SOL, that's probably the first thing we knew about MGP.

I'm not reading the spoilers, but might we be looking at two damaged ships? It would certainly make sense that this be a shot of the destruction we assumed was wreaked on the Hav Vind. The large white structure tilted at about a 30 degree angle from vertical certainly looks like the superstructure of an oil tanker. The bow of the ship in the foreground, though, definitely does not look like an oil tanker. Maybe it's a Coast Guard ship that was responding to the distress call from the tanker. It looks like it might have pulled up next to the tanker when MGP took a swipe or two at it.

It looks like the bow is head on and the superstructure is facing left, so very damaged ship or two different ones.
He seems to have caused quite a bit of chaos anyway.

they could be bluring out the logo(i guess thats what you would call it)
so it could be a tagruato ship
also there is something blured out in the backround to the right of the ship

We know that the previous pics on 1-18-08 came from either video or the party. Where did this come from? Thats why I'm thinking we should start looking for a video for this (Another newscast?).

I am guessing the blurred parts may contain:
a) another one of the monster's trapped inside and signs of it trying to get out
b) the signs of destruction caused by the monster during the ship's escape attempt in open sea.
