I'm wondering if the tanker was attacked and then dragged to New York by the coast guard/military. Perhaps the oil or DSI or whatever leaking out could have left a trail for the monster to follow. So this picture could be saying that the tanker is there, but the monster is still lagging behind a bit.
I would say this is right before the newscast/party scene but the ship seems to be facing east so it would be a sunrise or perhaps they're still far enough away the New York isn't showing on the horizon.

That's not a normal blackhawk, either. It has a refueling probe, so it's either an MH-60 or a HH-60. Probably the latter, as that's a Search and Rescue variant, although the MH-60 is special ops use, so either way. Smile

I'm thinking the pizelated part of the ship could simply be a bulbous bow. As for the actual pixelation...to keep us guessing about things, maybe? If that's the case, it's working.

I'm searching for a possible accompanying video (as are others, I would imagine).

i think it may just be m eyes, this pics doing some bad things to em... with the blur and all...

but does anyone else see the big, gaping hole in the middle of the ship that the smoke is coming from? if there is a gaping hole like that it means one of 2 things

1. MGP came at the ship at torpedo speed and just rammed thru the haul of the ship

2. this is the ship he came from if they found him

i pick the first, cause if it was the latter he'd of did more damage

edit: yeah, my eyes are crap today, disregard this...
