All i can help noticing is how that piece of cardboard next to the newspaper stand on the right, is still there 3 years 3 months later...

On a serious note, without pointing out mistakes, The CDC, are the "Communicable Disease Control" group, you can see their real site here

EDIT:
i posted a message on the comment page of the new video, about the Communicable Disease Control group, i also added my little comment about the cardboard. So they decided to delete it! i think someone is just saw about not doing their job properly LOL.

Well Dr. Frank accepted me as a friend on Facebook. I'll quote exact message. Pretty much just, "Sorry, been busy... blah blah blah. Cyberdynes been gone for years". I thought that was odd, considering he seemed to point us to investigate Cyberdyne.

My original message:

Quote:
I'm having a hard time finding any info about Cyberdyne. Any pointers on where to look?

The reply:

Quote:
Frank wrote on your Wall:

"Hey Rorschach, I got your message but we've been very busy as of late as you can probably imagine. To answer your question, as far as I know Cyberdyne Systems hasn't been around for years."

No, it seemed more like they were using Cyberdyne to make a link to the Terminator series.
Either way, Cyberdyne Systems is completely gone and other than looking up former employees, it seems basically pointless to go after it.

My father worked as an engineer at Cyberdyne for 11 years. After the Sunnyvale plant was destroyed his department closed down and he was laid off, he could not find a new job for over a year. He got behind on bills and could not pay the mortgage on the house. He and mother would fight all the time. In '93 they divorced and my sister and I went to live with mother in Seattle. I have not heard from him since.

Father worked for the advanced cybernetics research department, did anyone else here work for that department? Maybe you know where I can find him.

Daddy, if you are reading this I want you to know that I miss you...

Wow. Zoltan that's simply heartbreaking. I'm sorry for your tragedy and I hope you can recover from it.

As far as the advanced cybernetics research department goes, I'm not too sure. I didn't hang out with those guys much (apart from my late friend Miles Dyson).

I hope you're able to find some sort of resolution with your father some day.

Back into software... personally I'm relieved.. tired of people sending down miscellaneous mangled parts that they must have stolen from competitors for me to reverse engineer.

Also, Cyberdyne was reverse engineering the found T-800s and when Dyson blew up the building, he destroyed all the chip designs and such along with him. Though, in a deleted scene in Terminator 3 states that the USAF obtained the schematics from Cyberdyne.

Unless if somehow, ... I just shot myself in the foot. Either way, Cyberdyne was done after 1991, SCC takes place between Terminator 2 and 3.

The best part of this, for me, anyway, is watching everyone take this so seriously. Even the people saying "I think this is a gag" are hilarious to me.

just a reminder - for those who have seen the show now that it's aired, post contents with caution - use spoiler tags for TV related spoilers for a while, otherwise try to focus on the EniTech/Takebackthefuture game events... (unless of course they're inextricably linked Wink)

based on the newspaper pics of enitech and takebackthefuture.com, it looks like "the war" started with an outbreak

I know this doesn't mean anything other than further justify the fact that this ARG is Terminator related, but I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned yet:

At the end of the blog article titled "The suggestions on what we should create an image of with the Gardner Project device", a commenter suggested something silly which is irrelevant here, but EniTech replied with:

Quote:
Hard to say. There's no fate but what we make.

The part highlighted in bold is very similar to a line in T2, which John Connor says right before when John realizes that his mother (Sarah) is going to kill Miles Dyson:

"No fate, no fate but what we make for ourselves."

actually it takes place in an alternate universe where T3 doesn't happen.

Well, I just got this email from Dr. Bentley. I've had no luck on any follow up on it though. Stupid employment.

I googled miles dyson, but didn't really get anywhere.

Also a new post on enitechlabs blog. In the window, there is a kind of pie shaped picture with numbers. I haven't had time to analyze it further.

Ror, Those have to be some kind of keyboard shift code wouldn't you think, based on the picture and all?

I'll be able to play w/ it at home but thats an hour off, I imagine it will have been solved by then.
