[DK] Text Message(s)

After carrying around the Joker cellphone for several weeks now (and enduring a late night call or two from some random person with a Puerto Rico number), things are finally afoot. I got a text message from humanresourcesSPLATwhysoserious.com today:

After replying that I am still out here, I received a further message, which seems to be cut off:

There seems to be a 128 character limit on texts on this phone. I've txt-ed back that this is the case ... hopefully the HR department can reply more succinctly.

EDIT: There are similar reports over at The Superhero Hype Forums, but some of their replies had shorter subject lines, so they got more of the message, with Are you a continuing with backstabbing, self. That's as much as anyone has so far.

And one more text message, which I think does it for today:

This same quote came out as a bulletin from that Joker MySpace Page. I don't think that page is really official, but if anything it seems to be caught up with where the phones are. Exciting!

That sounds like the same exact automated e-mail that I received when I wrote to human resources to reply about the ad in the Gotham Times about clowns needed.

That e-mail said:
"See you found my little message. So, do you think you have what it takes to be a part of my circle of friends? Are you a backstabbing, self-promoting, ambitious clown who will do anything to prove yourself to me? If so, the first step of your application process awaits...if you know where to look."

I hope this restarts soon. I'm looking for a good game and I know this one is and will continue to be good. Plus, I am looking forward to the movie.

I tried calling the pie shop today and I got the same message. Pie lady, the holidays are over, let's update.

Please.

There was an ad in the hahahatimes that suggested to e-mail to that address. Those that did got a response back and some messages.
The ad can be found here:

http://www.thehahahatimes.com/page2.htm

Other people followed the trail, and solved clues, and were the first to many bakeries that gave out cakes that had a phone baked in them and have been receiving text messages through the special phone they got in the cake.

Other people have signed up for the joker myspace page who is actually a fan with close connections and would release bulletins that were helpful.

Bruce's wiki is very helpful in getting caught up - all pages, sites are listed on the wiki.

Hey clown! Long time, no crime spree! Well, put on your floppy shoes and answer this question: are you ready to get to work? (Reply Y/N)

I sent back a Y Very Happy .

P.S. It also look like the account for this phone will expire in 3 days.

Ah, that old April Fish. That's sometime before next Tuesday, and hopefully for me pretty soon since this phone is gonna become useless by Friday without a certain fool's intervention Wink .

What if..

What if "Poisson d'Avril" also means that we should look out for things talking about fish? There were a couple things (like the "Tuna King" article on A2 of the new Gotham Times) out there with typos and what not that might mean something-- Interestingly, the Tuna King article was also one of the only articles not really mutilated in the HaHaTimes.

Thoughts?

Poisson D'Avril is the french version of April Fools, but it could possibly have something fish related.

*Goes to print out and cut out paper fish*
