I think what they are trying (looking past the mistakes) to tell us in this picture is this:

The picture is taken before it got to NY (only since the movie is not out yet).

Picture is taken from a military plane. The night vision and the blacked out boxes are there to make to make it look more official / real. You see a lot of military pictures / videos where they black out certain things.

The military was probably tracking this thing and was trying to stop it. They unleashed everything they had, short of going nuclear. They didn't just fire one or two things from a couple of planes OR boats. But fired multiple rounds of various types of weapons from a whole bunch of boats AND planes.

MGP can take a lot of fire power and still keep on going. So he is one BA. They didn't succeed in killing it, but they did get it PO.

It's obvious they were trying to convey a large military strike against MGP in a single picture, but yea, fairly poorly done, it was almost amusing. Razz

But it does get the point across. I'm guessing prior to NYC.

Oh wow 2 new pictures that's cool. One nightvision and the other a blurred image of the monster. At least I think that's what it is. Are you guys discussing both here?

Edit: Sorry I barely noticed the other one was brought up (The pillar of smoke and the blurred image one). Haven't been here in a bit and didn't know if the two were in seprate updates. Man I forgot about the roar on the site too. it surprised me. But yeah...that blurred out effect is interesting. I don't know. Well if this takes place before the attack then the military sure screwed up and didn't evac NY. Afterwards means that our monster does live to fight again. Once again, I'm glad he can take a beating and doesn't die as pathetic as Zilla did.

Ships could be launching into NYC at MGP. Planes could be attacking him there also.. does not have to be out in water. Might also be destroying things in city!
