Reviews by critics, websites, news, etc

Instead of Posting 300 new posts within the next twelve hours, lets combine all the latest reviews into this topic. That way its all together. Because we all know the first main screenings take place today and tmr, and there will be a thousand reviews online.

So lets just link them all right here! Warn us for spoilers!

Orlando review
reposting review here to reduce threads.

Just got home from the Orlando screening. I thought the movie was average. It has its moments, like some good lines from Hud. It has some flaws too. I thought the fx were average to good at best. It kept me entertained enough too not boo like another reviewer did (LOL). Certainly wasnt the worst movie I ever saw. I been following this thing and playing along since day 1 and I went in with an open mind. I understand the point of view and idea behind the presentation, I just felt the handicam movement was way too much. I actually got a little motion sick and I thought it was hard to watch a couple parts because of it. I recommend sitting farther back in the theater if you are susceptible to motion sickness. Even without that distraction the best I personally can muster is an average. You do see the monster, several times and even close up. But do to angle, people running from it or explosions or whatever you never really seem to get a chance to study it, which is understandable because of the reasons stated. Just my opinion folks. Ask away with questions.
