Bad reviews getting you down?
Let me try to pick you up

Now I know that around this time (a few days before a movie comes out), negative trailers start to show up and it really gets you guys down about the movie.

Well, remember that the movie is good because you think it is, not because someone told you it was. You have to go into the movie with a positive attitude in order to like it, and I can sense that you guys are pretty dissapointed with the reviews.

So remember, it's your choice whether you like it or not, don't let someone else tell you it was bad!

Here are some positive reviews to read. Read these, and only these (some of them aren't reviews, but just people who liked it saying that they liked it) :

Please guys, don't let other people veer your opinion about the movie. Go and see it for yourself!

Take the 3 from IMDB out. They wouldn't know a good movie if it gang-raped them.

Yea, but they were positive so I thought I'd throw them in there. Can't hurt. Well, it could, but whatever.

Heh, i never listen to critics, though i do read there reviews just about every friday, i never say, "hmm, he could be right, well, not seeing this movie." If the preview looks stupid "1 Missed Call" AVP:R...etc... then im pretty sure, i won't see it.

While I certainly don't begrudge the people who don't like the film, so far I've still seen more positive than negative reaction. There are always going to be people who don't like things and there are certainly movies out there that I don't like, but of the more legit reviews I've only seen a few that completely trash the film so far.

But I suppose we'll see what tomorrow brings. I'm still planning on seeing it to judge for myself.

Just because someone didn't like it, is no mean not to see it. More than once I have laughed out loud at something most people were crying / sad about. There was something that tickled my funny bone. I have cried when most people where laughing, it hurt inside.

I remember when Animal House came out, the critics hated it. After the public liked it they changed their mind. To each his own.
