I have found out how to access 4C.

It's really rather simple. Right click, and have it open in a new window.
I can't make sense of it yet, but I like it.

[EDIT]: I have figured out the backwards writing on the Gray Room.

"Have faith, but be of sound body. This is the path to purpose.
Truth wells forth from reason and logic.
You have been given intellect, but have a common sense of beauty, of aesthetic truth.
Truth wells forth from structure and symmetry.
It is when we put flesh over substance that we lose the man.
Mind, spirit, and nature preside here."

"And Hannibal said to the Dragon,
"You are beautiful.""

It seems as if he embodies cold, rational thought.
Many of the page titles are backwards body parts (Ulna, Radius, Cranium, Sternum, etc.) and it seems as if he is a chemist for the Queen who is doing experiments on his friend Morcar.
We need to solve the crown entry.

[SECOND EDIT]
Someone should probably get on reversing the initial sound file, too.
And 3 after 1, 14 after 3? So 1, 3, 14????

I believe Morcar is his brother. And I'm not sure if a White Rabbit has been mentioned before, but it was referred to as a "he" who didn't get along with Morcar.

The White Rabbit, of course, is the one who brought us down the rabbit hole. ^^ In short, 2C.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. =)

And the "Well...there's always my brother. Then again, Morcar can be rather difficult." line can either mean Morcar is his brother, or his brother will be available to help, even though Morcar can be difficult.

Maybe White Rabbit = brother? Hmm...the wording is tricky.

Hmm, any idea on how to figure out that password for the last journal?

There has to be some clue that will let us in.

It's a long sound file, and I think I hear something. After all, my hunch for 2H White Rabbit by JA was spot on. ^^

Morcar
Morcar and Edwin

Not sure if this helps but Morcar earl of Morthumbria was the brother of Edwin earl of Mercia. They were around in 1066 for the battle of Hastings. And they backed Edgar for King. When their backing failed they made up with the Normans.

Bingo! It's part of the speech given by the Dodo!!!! I'm going to look it up right away.
[EDIT]: The exact passage is
`Ahem!' said the Mouse with an important air, `are you all ready? This is the driest thing I know. Silence all round, if you please! "William the Conqueror, whose cause was favoured by the pope, was soon submitted to by the English, who wanted leaders, and had been of late much accustomed to usurpation and conquest. Edwin and Morcar, the earls of Mercia and Northumbria- -"'

`Ugh!' said the Lory, with a shiver.

`I beg your pardon!' said the Mouse, frowning, but very politely: `Did you speak?'

`Not I!' said the Lory hastily.

`I thought you did,' said the Mouse. `--I proceed. "Edwin and Morcar, the earls of Mercia and Northumbria, declared for him: and even Stigand, the patriotic archbishop of Canterbury, found it advisable--"'

`Found WHAT?' said the Duck.

`Found IT,' the Mouse replied rather crossly: `of course you know what "it" means.'

`I know what "it" means well enough, when I find a thing,' said the Duck: `it's generally a frog or a worm. The question is, what did the archbishop find?'

The Mouse did not notice this question, but hurriedly went on, `"--found it advisable to go with Edgar Atheling to meet William and offer him the crown. William's conduct at first was moderate. But the insolence of his Normans--" How are you getting on now, my dear?' it continued, turning to Alice as it spoke.

`As wet as ever,' said Alice in a melancholy tone: `it doesn't seem to dry me at all.'

`In that case,' said the Dodo solemnly, rising to its feet, `I move that the meeting adjourn, for the immediate adoption of more energetic remedies--'

Thank you so much for making that connection, STP!

Some thoughts

A thought on Edwin and Morcar--Edwin keeps referring to serving tea and being a host, could he be the mad hatter, and the mad hatter is inextricably linked to the march hare, rather like a brother, perhaps they are more than just cards?

Also, I see numbers hidden in the backgrounds of the generator room and chemistry lab they are all random and of different sizes and whatnot, and thoughts on that?

Awesome observation, Ptolemy. I've been a bit lazy and haven't gone over the book recently like a good little Passenger might, but I do see what you mean about Edwin and the Mad Hatter.

And I don't see any number when I looking at the Generator Room.
Mind showing me what you mean?
