How does the movie start? Are there credits in the end? An easter egg after the end credits?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I answered how the movie starts already so I will answer the others. Yes there are credits with an ending theme song called Roar! that is given proper credit at the end, although I cannot remember the composer's name. I remember it sounded italian. At the end There WAS A WHISPER. We didn't quite make it out, but it sounded almost exactly like the EVP from that one movie "White Noise" the one that says "Get Out of my House". My friend Catt (an avid movie buff like me) Thinks it said "Help Me" but I feel there were more syllables to it
The composer is Michael Giachinno, he composed music for "Lost". I heard something too, but it was definitely too quiet to make out any words. I didnt really get the feeling though that it would be something really important, but then again...im probably wrong.

That was it! It was a good piece of music, a little campy, but in a "Godzilla" theme type way. Over dramatic and such with some obvious Japanese influences thrown in. I don't know if the whisper meant anything, but it WAS there. I am not going to spec on it really, just keep an ear out for it yourself when all of you go see it.

was the whisper at the end "He's coming" from the party scene before Rob enters in the trailer? It could allude to a second movie coming out in July =)

I am not sure, it happened so fast I was barely paying attention, due to making a comment to my friends about the theme song and the amazingly long music list on the credits (considering the only music in the movie is at the party). It was there but I can't spec on it at this point.
EDIT to Add: I am going to Sleep guys, I will be on in the morning and would be glad to answer any questions you may have when I log back on then.

Reeves said it would be obvious why the movie is called "Cloverfield". Was it obvious?
To be honest I still have no clue why. It definitely wasn't obvious.
Hmm...this guy (Reeves) seems to spout a continuous stream of lies and half-truths about most everything pertaining to this movie.

I would agree... You have NO CLUE why this movie is named the way it was by watching this film other than that the camera was found on site "Cloverfield" or whatever.

I am going to make an audio recording of the movie when I see it.
Hopefully I can get a "clear" recording of what they say at the end.

That's true, but we are talking about the strange whisper after the credits, not the last words during the film.
I am back on Uf for the day. Anyone else have any more questions?

So I assume that this isn't enough for you then eh?
Maybe the Manga comic discussed in the other thread, which I believe is a direct Prequel to the movie will answer this question!?

I think what Pandafarmer meant is there is no way for ANY of us to tell on first glance why the movie is called Cloverfield. Perhaps there is something obscure in the background we're all missing or something, but it is definitely not obvious.

It definitely sounded to me like "Help…me" or "Help…us". It also sounded like Rob's voice but very weak, indicating he may have survived.

That would make sense wouldn't it? My friend said she thought it said that too.
