Thanks for the translations in progress, guys! You rock!

As for the mysteries and open-endedness (new word?) of this particular movie, remember that JJ was inspired by the Gojira franchise and wanted the U.S. to have our own monster. This may just be the first of a few movies (I pray they're not as campy as the earlier Gojira movies, though they are fun to watch). Not having seen the movie yet, I can't say for sure that the conclusion of the movie will lead to another (and don't anyone say anything about that here, either), so I'm just offering speculation. Or, it could take on the form of the expanded Star Wars Universe after "The Return of the Jedi". I've read 85% of the books that came out and they were excellent. The storylines, characters, etc. were all developed wonderfully (especially the story with the Yuuzhan Vong invasion) - they would make great movies, given the right budget and perfect director, buy they stand well on their own. They also kept the continuity of the movies within the stories (which actually was a requirement for all of the authors ). Perhaps this manga will be the beginning of this type of thing. Just a thought...

Edited for spelling, and to say that if you even vaguely liked at least the original three Star Wars films, you'll LOVE the books (esp. the series with the Yuuzhan Vong invasion - they were some BAMFs!!!! Only if you like reading that is....

I know this is free, but i would gladly pay to have a hard copy on my hands. It'd be funny if they begin selling the complete manga at te slusho store!
And they sure do like to torture us, they throw a thing like this at us and then the next installement only on february. But hey, it's been six months since this whole thing started so a few more weeks shouldn't be that bad.

Well, Nicolas Barr� was a founder of Infant Jesus Sisters, a Jesuit orden in Asia (also in Japan). But in that context it's nonsense.
