it seems like the guy is picking up some boxes and placing them on his cargo boat to the side, what could it be? Seabed Nector maybe?

I'm pretty sure it didn't go to NY to die, there wasn't much blood from the monster in the movie.

i've been a lurker until now, and signed up because i so badly wanted to reply about this new pic.

hasn't anyone considered that maybe the night vision firing shot was first, followed by the wrecked smoking tanker, followed by the blood shot? Maybe it's not MGPs' blood, maybe its the blood of all the people on those tankers that MGP killed?

And NO ONE has mentioned - - what's the thing in right hand corner? Someone on a ship is obviously monitoring the guy in the boat. For good reason, of course.

Thoughts?

So, okay, you mentioned it, but I still think you're wrong.

Anyways, what about the chronological order of this pics? From what's been disclosed about MGP, he seems to be intact in the movie, so all that blood coming from him doesn't make sense to me.

I agree with your ordered arrangement. Much of 1-18-08 has come in random order. I think it just comes down to, what do they want us to know, or look further into...

I find it very unlikely it's victims. Sinking ships and platforms would cause more drowning deaths than anything. I doubt he went and individually chomped each person in twain. He'd have to, to make that much blood from humans.

So either it's the monster itself, and we are seeing stuff after the attack, or it's monster-bait, which I think is more likely.

None of the pics were put up in order of the movie. If you use the wiki http://cloverfield.despoiler.org/index.php?title=1-18-08.com It shows the order as they went up & dates.

1st pic Lily/marlena faces 7/3
2nd pic rob Party 7/6
3rd pic people walkin thru clouded/smoke 7/12
4th back to party (Hud,Rob,Jamie) 7/20
etc

5 pics in July went up, maybe 5 pics in January?

Would believe these last 3 were not in any order also.

ok, sorry for saying shut up.

Anyways, with my buoy theory, the boat in the pic is a shallow water boat, those don't go out any farther than the buoys because of the undertow.

The chronological order makes sense, the station crashing and the boat picture look like they were taken at dawn or before dawn, whereas the bombing picture is at night.
