Okay. This confirms it for me. I think this is definitely Ganu and Noriko.

Wait. Maybe those were American exchange kids picking on him. It seems that he is going to get revenge with this monster.

And seeing as how he is in NYC at the time of the attack, I wonder if he shicked MGP on America, and wanted to watch the destruction for satisfaction.

It's all making sense now.

EDIT: Come on, Guerra! You think they're going to say "Noriko killed herself," or "Ganu stumbled upon his mother's dead corpse"? No, especially since they emphasize 'happy things' so much. Saying she was "lost and never returned" has several connotations without having to say... you-know-what. Wink

 		OK, people, I've got it.
Thanks to Arienai, I've remastered all the images - you can now read Japanese and translation. My girlfriend looked up the whole translation, so there are no mistakes now.

Following news:

our hero's name is
Aiba Kishin

You can see his name in his pass. (Aiba is his name, and name of the girl is Aiko).

Next: this is the first part of four in Japan. Release in Japan is in April 2008. Till April they will publish four parts of Kishin.

Either Reeves or Abrams have already said in an interview that MGP was not created. He's been sleeping for a thousand years and was just born, like a baby. That why the cover of the Manga has the monster speaking about his destiny and wondering if he can escape. MGP doesn't even know what he is capable of. The cover is especially interesting because it seems to suggest MGP is sentient on some level.
