Not lame. I think Kevin Smith is talented, and I find most of his movies to be very funny.

This isn't a Cloverfield ARG, its a JJ abrams ARG with Cloverfield being a part of the broader story.

All this tells me is what i thought of long ago and that is JJ abrams is trying to make a true continuous ARG. I see a Slusho movie in the future that deals with the effects of the DSN. Imagine if everyone started turning into the evil bitch that Jamie is turning into... Thats a movie in itself. I feel that JJ is going to have many movies with Tagaruto Corp. involved, even in a small role such as Cloverfield. Seeing Slusho on Heroes tells me that we might see Tagaruto in LOST. What JJ is doing is setting up a bunch of fake businesses to use them in future projects so that his movies become an ARE within itself ultimately this arg will go on as long as JJ wants it to.

Anyone agree?

Its not like it hasn't been done before.... Stephen King uses the same Characters in multiple books, as well as the same towns. If you read alot of his books you can catch these characters from book to book with the same names and all.

Also on a Slusho movie... its not like that hasn't been done before. Need i say anything about Soylent Green or The Stuff?

I'm not dissing your idea, but in terms of a money-maker or even a movie worthy of mass distribution, it would be pretty gay. As I've said many times, DSN, SBI, Slusho!, or whatever acronym you want to throw out there sounds pretty stupid to the rest of us in the real world (not the ARG or JRPG world).

Twenty-something years ago when I was ten I thought the Phantasy Star video game was pretty cool. But when I look back, it's pretty gay (the idea, the themes, etc.) What's cool to a ten year old isn't cool to the rest of the world, and whether anyone likes it or not, money walks and BS talks.
