 		[48][EVENT] Promoting Time
Who is in?
So here is the deal:

We are all aware of our Street Team website at: http://48hoursonthestreet.com/

The purpose for that website is to promote the film 48 Hours In Purgatory. However since 48 Hours In Purgatory IG came out in December, we are shifting our objective to promote the game/indie film.

Tomorrow is the premiere of Cloverfield, and it gives us all a great opprotunity to go out there and pass along fliers and spread the word. There is already one flier up on the Street Team website, but tomorrow morning there will be some other ones which you guys will be able to download and print and hand out.

I would like to ask all of you 48ers to unite and show them who we are and what we are made of. For this promotion plan it would work best if we have people from all over the world...Mass Marketing.

I know it sounds scary to some of you, but from personal experience I can promiss you that after the first 5 minutes you just get used to it and you stop feeling weird about it. Also, I think it might be cool if you have the ability to do so, film yourself while you hand out fliers or post them up. I will post your videos on the Street Team website .

 		Not to be a nay sayer, but we don't really have anything to promote.

Two in-game websites that really give them nothing to go on?

We need product. Videos, trailers, something before this `` mass marketing `` can take affect.

 		I totally get what you are saying, and I agree...So why don't we just promote the game? Eventually if they are going to follow the trail then they would end up finding out about the movie eventually.

That way we don't need any "trailers" persay...We just need to promote the street team site or the 48-hours.net site...Or both. Too bad we don't have the skgfilms site yet, because that would be good to advertise as well.

Anyways, I think it's worth the shot. Even if the only thing it would do is get the name 48 Hours In Purgatory out there.

* Cloverfield isn't released for another 2 weeks (goddammit)
* I would do it at AVPR tonight, but no-one will go with me

 		For anyone interested, I just posted 2 .pdf files (one in color, one in bw) on the Street Team website for you guys to print out and hand out tonight. It is in the "Promotion Ideas and downloads" section, on the very bottom.
