 		Saw it and it ROCKED!
First off, I just want to say that I hope they make a ride out of this film. It would be the coolest ride ever....EVER!

The monster is pretty much like the latest depictions on here and it looked good in my opinion. Mini monsters looked even better and were very realistic.

I don't know if I missed it, but I didn;t notice a dark object falling from the sky in the Coney Island scene at the end....can anyone explain where this thing was? Or better yet, is there a clip or screenshot of it?

Anyways, I liked the movie for what it was. Apparently there are some douchebags on UF that were expecting something else and they were doing a good job at discouraging me with their reviews. Whatever.....everyone....WATCH IT! LOVE IT!

Now I'm just hoping for a DVD full of goodies.

 		Oh, yeah...and the Star Trek trailer was pretty cool. It was just the US Enterprise being constructed, but it was still cool.

 		Saw the Midnight Special!
Team...I just saw the midnight showing. This was the public viewing of the film.

A. I saw no objects fall into the ocean.
B. There is blood after the 'Marlana' explosion but no explination
C. The smaller beasties are 'spider / crab like' and FAST!
D. The monster and smaller guys are never seen clearly
E. The 'Operation Hammer Down' Is conducted during the film....Several explosions ensue...Don't know what they are...
F. The "party" scene is LONG...but I think alot of background information comes from it. But it is fast and yet important!
G. There are ALOT of High Schoolers attending (dont they have some sort of curfew?) And they All have "the Beatles" hair cut.
H. Couldn't really hear the easter egg at the end. (high schoolers were gathered in thier clicks talking.
I. Would I see it again? YES, definitely

 		The link I gave you is the first post of the midnight showing. They posted around 0130 so thier post was before yours. Hense a trout...Although THEY did not mention the Star Trek trailer in the beginning which, in my opinon you get major points for! I posted as well, as soon as I got back, but saw your post and deleted mine. I am sure there will be a multitude of "first showings" coming so brace yourself!
