At the very last scene with Hawk and Beth. You see they are on the island with the carnival or whatever in the distance. But if you keep looking at the ocean to the right. You see it! When i saw this i was like... "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" out of the whole group that i went with i was the only one to catch that. They were distracted by the carnival. You do indeed see a splash. Its funny because its exactly a month before the events happen. April 26 or the 27 and the monster gets there on May 27.

 		I saw it last night @ midnight too.
I forgot to look for that at the end though - even though the whole movie I tried to remember to watch for it...

GREAT MOVIE.
But 75% of the other people there in the theatre were not satisfied.

 		sorry about that. But yea you can barely see it tho. Its just a little black dot off in the distance and a little splash. Yea same thing happened at the theater i went to. I knew what to expect i mean c'mon its a video tape for crying out loud of course its gonna cut off like that.
