Happy Cloverfield day. It's opening on the 24th here in Portugal, but they're having the portuguese premiere on a subway station in Lisbon on the 22nd, I'm hoping to attend. It's still too far away, though!

Yep Happy 1-18-08! unfortunately for whatever bloody reason we (uk) have to wait till Feb 1st!! ?How sucky is that? I can garauntee I'll be spoilered to death by then as well as offered crappy copies on dvd!!

The day has finally arrived! It seemed so far away back in the early days of last July, but seven Myspace pages, about a half-dozen websites, and ten wacky Jamie videos later, here we are. I even woke my kids for school this morning with my impersonation of the monster roar (yes, it's been a long 6.5 months Laughing

).

Due to the complexities of family life, I won't get to see the movie til Sunday evening, but compared to the folks overseas I can't complain. I've remained pretty much spoiler-free, so I'm ready for some fun. Enjoy all!

I think that, in Canada and the US, today (and all 1-18's in following years) should be a national holiday. And, all the other countries can have their own release dates as holidays.
I'd go for that, lol.
