I'm going with:
1. The pic is of MGP dinner leftovers
2. Preceded attack on NY, probably grabbed "fast food" on the way...
3. Night Vision shots take place after the NYC events OR an assault by a TAG strike force before MGP gets to NYC

hah. I see it now. What I thought to be horns you can clearly see is the mouth and fins of the sperm whale. Interesting.

I'm from an island, and I've seen maaaaannnyy beached whales like this (not eaten, but, you know, lol). It seems that's what happens to blubber sometimes after a few hours of sitting in the sun, or, maybe, exposure to salt water.
EDIT: To elaborate...
The back half of the whale is what you get naturally when you start ripping blubber from a whale. You'd look the same if your fat was black and someone started tearing it from your muscles.
And, like I said, the front half is typical, there's just more blubber there to crack and do funky stuff like this.
Not burned.

Ewww...imagine the smell.
Well, now we know where all that blood came from. I was right (ha ha) in saying he had a snack or two and that it wasn't HIS blood in the water. Plus, he chomped through a whale's SKULL like it was a chunk of butter.
Told ya he was hardcore

Honestly there was alot of talk about how bad they did with some pics and to me they did a pretty damn good job. Anyone that uses Photoshop can tall you that a picture like the new one can take hours and hours of making. It has been quite obvious to me that these are all good photoshop jobs. I would put money that the whale I found is the one in the picture. And what it takes to skew it and change the texture and all that...forget about it.
Been lurking for so long, should have joined a long time ago. I am not exactly a ARG person. More interested in the cloverfield. So now I can post on some things I have screamed at the monitor about but, couldn't be heard

Yeah...I was convinced that all of this carnage was caused by MGP...rather than the dead thing(s) being MGP himself.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If for no other reason than the backwards, "It's still alive" message at the end of the movie.
Edited to obscure spoiler. - E

Thanks for the welcome, I should have jumped in here a long time ago. Involved in many forums but, what goes on here is pretty damn unique.
So thanks to all of you for the good reads and helping the days fly by here at work.

That sperm whale's had its spermaceti organ (containing the thick whitish goo) chomped out!
So now we know MGP's real reason for coming to New York: He wanted to be fabulous on Broaaadwaaaay !
