Yes, I've seen the movie....

Hey....

Y'all heard about the Tag satellite falling, right? Well, at the end of the movie, when it shows Rob and Beth on the ferris-wheel, Rob focuses on the ocean, but he doesn't notice an incredibly small object (compared to the screen, that is) fall into the ocean. I was thinking, "I think that's the Tag 'satellite', and they were lying about it falling. It's actually a deep-sea device they can use as a sonar to track the monster, since they've been getting some evidence of it on the Chuai station. That, in turn, is where the Whistle Blower got the sonar pictures.

Meaning... Tag knew about the monster, and didn't inform the public, 'cause they wanted to keep it under wraps. Meaning, they're also to blame for not informing everybody of it, thereby saving thousands of lives.

The reason they didn't tell anyone is because then they'd have to admit that they launched an illegal deep-sea sonar. Tag doesn't want ANYTHING to be used against them, 'cause then it could result in a search by the government, who'd then figure out EVERYTHING bad they've ever done, ruining Tag for good.

I've also begun forming a theory about the monster... see, I thought he looked a bit smaller when it ate Hud than he did at other points. I think that both the Big monster and the Little Monsters do something just like Xenos.
The parasites, which are attached to the Monster's back, are unleashed, bite a person, the person inflates, explodes, and a new Monster is unleashed... this would also be slightly ironic, 'cause Marlena, the person the cameraman, Hud, likes, is bitten, inflates, explodes. See, she was really annoyed with Hud all of the time, but she eventually began to warm up to him, and actually saves him from being attacked.
Anyway, when she explodes, it's very quick, it's over like that. I thought, "What, are these creatures just made for destruction? A lot of Cloverfield was inspired by Alien, maybe they're similar? Maybe this is how more are born."

We also saw another person who's chest had burst open....

So, it'd be ironic if Marlena saved Hud from the fate she succumbed to, only to have her own Monster (can also be considered as Marlena, herself) eat Hud.

This would also help the theory of Slusho actually being the Monster's eggs. They bite the people, who are injected with venom, the people inflate, and out comes new a monster. Or, it could be plain 'ole quick-growing eggs they inject in a person.

At one point, Hud even mentions that one of the Little Monsters try to DRAG HIM AWAY, he comments on how weird that is, and they NEVER resolve that.

...Seeeeeequuuuueeeeel?

OOOH, OOOH, NEW THEORY! See, when you see the creature eat Hud, there are NO footsteps, until one at the end, Beth and Rob react to it, and Hud looks up at it. MAYBE, just MAYBE, it was growing behind Hud, that's why no one notices it. It can "hatch" (if my previous theory is true) very quickly, meaning it's not too long until it grows to full size. And on the set (I may be looking too deep into this), everyone refers to the Monster as Clover... tons of Clover, born in Central Park, where the Little Monsters drag and bite their victims... Field of Clovers....

BTW, I just ripped this from another site I post in, it's obvious you all know about the spoilers I mention....

A Cloverfield topic on a forum called BZPower, a site dedicated to Bionicle. Of course, this was in a category where topics not relating to Bionicles are allowed... I think I did edit a few things to add it to this site, but not much....
