[QUESTION] Little Monsters sound?

WTF was up with that sound the little monsters made when they attacked.

It sounded like Barneys laugh but high pitched and repeating.

I'll try to post a clip as soon as I can.

I'm not really sure what they were thinking with that bit, to be honest; especially with the rest of the sound in the movie being done so well. It made the little buggers extremely hard for me to take seriously. But maybe that's because they reminded me so much of the spiders in Eight Legged Freaks.

Here, you be the judge:

Well the creatures were meant to evoke the feeling of rabid dogs, and I think the oulled that of perfectly. I go the feeling that whatever happened to Marlena was happening to them to, just slower.... And it drove them insane and made them want to attack anything that moved.

They pretty much are a smaller version of the villain in Starship. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, I loved every second of Cloverfield. I mean every second.

Oh thank god I'm not the only one who thought that. I tried to convince my girlfriend that this was the reason the little buggers seemed so familiar, but she has apparantly never seen starship troopers Confused

The little spiders and the skinny monster limbs are the only things I didn't like about that movie.

That being said, I thought the movie was incredible.

Actually, they reminded me more of the "face-huggers" from the Alien series... except for the spider-like head and nasty beak. Smile

They looked more like a mix of spiders with a "the host" creature type face except with a much longer jaw that protruded from inside the face.

I believe the sound could be best described as:

WAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWA.

Thank you.
