[Poll][Question]Should I Risk It?

I'm hitting a showing of Cloverfield(My first time) in a few hours, my question, should i risk bringing my camcorder to video some great shots for UF spoiler-lovers who just cannot wait???

I hope this is the breathtaking movie that its said to be! Very Happy

Im thinking about getting my digital camera (for pictures but also takes videos) and stuffing it in one of my full zip hoodies so i can make a little hole in the two zippers and tape the cam to my chest lol.

I would not do it either. Not worth it in my opinion and I am sure someone out there has already successfully recorded it. It will show up on-line somewhere soon I am sure, or at least I hope Very Happy

Theater I went to had a nice sign...

5 years prison
thousands in fines
charge is a felony, federal no less

So, what do you think?

Please tell me it was because he had it out and was blatantly recording. I go nowhere without my N93. Maybe if I showed them I don't have any room on my memory card to even take a picture right now, they'd be okay with it? Smile

as a filmmaker myself, i will never condone nor support the pirating of a film. however, i can say that a film like this, with the fans going nuts, the snapped images have not hurt the film nor the experience. yes it's a violation of copyright, but

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
after seeing what happened to hud and marlena i still wanted to see the film and was shocked when jason/hawk died on the bridge

so, i can say NO don't buy the illegally made films at swap meets, but the snapped images on the fan-dedicated forums really don't bug me.
