[QUESTION] Cloverfield DVD screener on Limewire? http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc221/LethalVenom97/movieonlimewire.jpg
i took a screen-cap of the results. i didn't download anything yet, i just want to get someone else's opinion on the top result. is the file size appropriate for the movie or more likely a virus?

That is it, but there may be a virus infused into the video. Might I also remind you that downloading films is a long process and is illegal, even off of Limewire.

i use the print screen button on the keyboard, go into paint and paste it in there, save it and then go into photobucket and upload it into there.

1. Hit the print screen button on your computer
2. Go into microsoft paint and click edit, paste
3. Save the picture to your documents
4. Go to photobucket, and if you already have an account upload the picture

Although I'm not sure why you are posting something HIGHLY illegal here that will most likely be locked soon, I'll go ahead and tell you that fooling you is as easy as renaming a file. Enjoy Legally Blonde 2 !

A bit off-topic, but can you get viruses from Bittorrent? I think the makers of this movie and ARG would've guessed there'd be a lot of videotaping and bootlegging, what with the whole movie being just one more giant clue. Do they expect us to just remember everything that happened? Or go see the movie five times and like, take notes or something?

If it's a screener it's probably fake.
If a movie is going to be nominated for an award based on visual effect or something else, there is usually a screener that is sent to the voters so they can see the movie and vote fairly. Hence the Juno and I am Legend screeners that I have. (I saw Juno in theaters, and hated I am Legend)
That being said, my mom was watching something and told me that Cloverfield could be nominated for several awards next year, including some Academy awards (the deadline for this years was December 31)
There might be a screener, but this soon I highly doubt it.
I've been looking everywhere for the movie so I can download it and send it to my sister, who is unable to see the movie due to the fact that she lives on a small island and the closest theater playing the movie is about 3 hours away.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD It's not the movie.
It's the second trailer/teaser.
I'm not sure about the file size. It's either very poorly compressed or loaded with malware. I've been running some scans, and nothing has turned up yet. Still, just to be safe (and since it really doesn't benefit you at all) do not download this.

Don't download movies. Seriously? If you didn't get enough the first time, wait 'til the DVD comes out, or go see it again. There's going to be a whole lot going on between now and the DVD release to tide you over, too.
Downloading movies (or music, for that matter) is so 2003.
(also, I've heard it's illegal)
