I am also new to this, but did anyone notice that the Dr. House in the quote above (also listed at the www.cambridgementalhospital.com site) is Dr. Edward House? Dr. Edward House = Dr. Ed House = Dread House?
[sorry if I posted incorrectly]
hmmmm. somone's been at the Bunnicula books . . . in the 4th book, "Nighty-Nightmare," this is the basis for the story - the house of "Dr. Edward Diabolus," or "Dr. ED" . . .
since i'm new, i'll ask . . . do clues for these usually come from really esoteric places?

Hi, i'm new to ARG's too, but i must say i'm hooked. I'm not sure what info should be posted in spoiler or not at the moment, so for now ill post my find in it all just to be safe.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I got the application for the UrbanHunt contestants in my email. At the bottom of the application is an address in Brooklyn, NY. 45 Main St, Suite 309 #341 Brooklyn, NY 11201. I searched for this address, but there was no company called Tomorrow's Talk.

Here's a little tidbit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Subject William S. (DRP ID 2003_00353)'s dream contains some images that match the Cambridge Mental Hospital pictures. The grafitti-ed door for one.
William S. is listed as being from Michigan and is 51, so he might be a possible former patient.

Exactly...
I'm pretty sure I've seen the bloody handprints from the Patients page somewhere on the Dream Project page. Is that what you're talking about with the door?

That one is there too, but I'm referring to the door with the grafitti.

Split up the topics I'm working on creating separate topic threads similar to methods we have used in UF in the past to keep like information together.
There is a thread for the hospital, for the urban mythology page, for the dreadhouse page, for the dream projector page.
Hopefully by this weekend we'll have our UPDATE/GENERAL forum, our PUZZLE forum, our INTERACTION forum, etc.
I haven't figured out yet how to move stuff around.

UH: hmmm Well, well, well. Young folks skulking around in tunnels and finding things. Where have we seen that before?

Where? It's in the back of my memory.
These seems like a real group of people and nice background information about the hospital. I'm doing more searching and will post anything I find in the Hospital's thread.

This is exciting. I haven't done an ARG since Majestic. When that ended I thought that was the last of them, until I stumbled upon unfiction via the /. ilovebee's story. That game and aware are too far to get into, but this one seems jusssst right.

Couldn't rightly tell you, but suddenly I'm having a craving for pie.
edited to add: And just to throw a little more spec into the pot- Given the Dread/Dr.Ed line of thought, does it seem a little odd to anyone else that TT would choose the name "Dread House"? Is there a possbility that someone with the production company may have a close tie to CMH?

They picked CMH for the shooting location for a reason....because it was a large abandoned building(s) with tunnels and lots of places for traps and dangerous situations....or because there was a haunting???
