[TROUT] Did anyone else get nauseous I started to get sick to my stomach around the time when they were walking towards the Beth's apartment building. I ended up throwing away more than half of a $6 bag of popcorn!
I never had that type of reaction from a movie before. The camera work was way too extra. I heard that some other people left to puke in the bathroom.

I fully expected to get nauseous since I do have motion sickness issues. I can't even read in the car. However, I made it through without feeling sick to my stomach. I got dizzy a few times, but I found that by just looking away for a split second every once in a while I could handle it. Felt fine when I left the theater.

I started feeling dizzy when they got to Beth's apartment and I couldn't tell which way was up or down..
but the full effect hit me when I left the theater and got outside. I was completely disoriented for a good hour after the movie.
I think the shaking was worse than Blair Witch.. that movie didn't bother me at all

I started feeling it pretty early. When they were in the subway. I had eaten so much before the movie and during the movie that it got to me. I used my hat to fan myself and I was good. Some kid threw up in the front row though. And I shouted it out "ohhh that kid threw up".

I'm going back for more ( which I don't ever do ) and I bought "Dramamine Less Drowsy Formula" to help me, got a tad off kilter, not too much, just felt out of sorts.

Within the first 10 seconds, I was pretty dizzy, but, by the time the monster showed up, I was used to it. It was weird leaving, though...I had to roll my head around for a few minutes to get readjusted to the normalness.
No one threw up in the theatre. One of my friends who went with me got a little dizzy as well, but, she, too, got used to it quick. By the end of the first half-hour I was too focused on on the action to notice the camerawork.

I'm going to go see it again tomorrow. Which is also something I never do. I really did love this movie. Like I said in another thread, I believe us ARG'ers can really appreciate how big this movie really is. A regular movie go-er is going to like it as a movie, we love it as so much more. Definitely a cult classic.

I didn't get the least bit queasy but I heard from a friend that works at a theater that quite a few people did get sick (luckily not during her shift!).
It must be motion sickness, which really plagued me as a kid but not at Cloverfield.
I can't wait to see it again!!

Wow -I didn't get the least bit dizzy or sick. I'd just eaten too. I'd heard about people getting a little ill in the theater's but it didn't phase me. I'm surprised so many people in here were affected. (The last movie I remember hearing about that happening in was (haha) The Blair Witch Project.)
I don't wanna sound insensitive or anything -I was just a little surprised.

Not really, i had mexican before i saw this movie so i was letting short silent ones out instead of chunks, this movie actually didn't bother me at all, i was just staring at the corners and stuff basically the whole time, looking for things.

I can't say I got nauseated at all but my gf certainly did lol! Poor girl, now i have to take her to see 27 Dresses to make up for it lol. She ended up closing her eyes through a lot of the movie, about two or three rows of people in the front got up and left because of it though.
