[Spoilers] Dissapointment about the party scene...

I think they reshot the party scene, so now lines in the teaser aren't in the film. But Rob is still our main dude, right?

You feel that upset about one line from the teaser not being in the party scene. The "main dude" line did make it in. Were you watching the same movie?

Also, this post could have gone with any number of threads.

actually they do say "He's like your main dude" part. The 11 bucks guy didn't happen though...

haha, well if you didn't, I was.
I don't remember seeing the Main Dude part, but I'm seeing it again tonight, so i'll pay more attention.

I loved the hell out of the movie, not even gonna lie.

There's really no doubt they reshot the scene. Seems to me it was said they made the teaser before they even started proper shooting for the film. Also mentioned was that many scenes had up to 60 takes! Each short segment of the party could have been a bit of 60 different takes, each with some slight variations.

Beth's goodbye message to Rob at the party was different than in the teasers/trailers as well.

"Rob.. have fun in Japan!" from the main living room area

turned into Beth sadly saying goodbye from the kitchen.
