Im sorry. I think maybe the first person made you a little disoriented. Because I dont think there was any laser.

Also this movie isnt Invasion of the Body Snatchers, so I dont believe those were pods for other monsters.

And clemgrad, were gonna need a bigger fish.

Everything's Magic

Since the other douchebags in here think they're so cool, I'll clear a few things up for you:

- No lasers.

- The debris really wasn't all the same size, it just looked that way. They were clearly cement/metal when they hit Rob's apartment.

- There weren't two monsters, the one monster had a shark like tail throughout the whole film.

- It was Lil in the helicopter on her own. It never showed her die.

- Marlena didn't die from Slusho, she died from an infection from the bite she received in the subway. And yeah, she did explode. Pretty much only her head and legs were left.

- TIDOwave really wasn't involved in this movie.

- It seemed as if the hospital was in an underground mall that serves as a subway plaza.

ya i saw my second time around in theatres, it was a camera thing, it was just a mini-ray of light shining of i think a missile, or the side of a building

her exploded body- do you think it would look like the dead guy on the stretcher? with the open gut and all? cause her explosion looked really major. her hips were swollen too.

and about lilys helicopter, when huds was in the air, we clearly see on helicopter burst in flames and drop down to the left on a building. was that lily's?

one more thing- did you guys notice in the trailer or the actual movie that there was a scene where there were tons of white pollen like things floating and flying in mid-air? it was like pretty large cause it was seen from quite high and was kinda visible still. i have no idea what that was, anyone explain?

I think Marlena's skin was stretching out in all areas, but she probably 'deflated' once her midsection found a place to rupture - probably around the navel. Skin is elastic, so it could come back down with just her midsection torn open, not to differently than the guy with the wide open chest and abdomen.

I think the white flakes you saw were the papers coming down from taller buildings that got ripped open or otherwise destroyed.

About those little monsters - notice they had one in a box? Think maybe they took one off of the island and it's being studied somewhere? I would hope those things didn't get loose later...

In the movie (not a really big point or spoiler), they said that they were at 59th. Then they ran into the military there. Since they'd just gotten away from the little parasites, perhaps the military was able to get a hold of one of them that tried to infiltrate from there. There was yellow blood(?) on the one in the box, so I'm thinking it was toast. Not getting up anymore.
