After finally watching the movie today and being FAR too over-analyzing about it all, I came to a conclusion that

1. There was just a massive amount of video that I don't think made it into the movie, so we are missing massive chunkc of what we know was a part of Rob's party and

2. There may have been a second camera in the room that could have recorded some of the party and been part of the government evidence of the attack.

Think of it as the government, while putting the first tape together that we all know and love as Cloverfield, they found a second tape that, lo and behold, someone else was shooting that started at Rob's party, but went off and became a part of someone else's own adventure. Eh? Sounds cool, right? Almost sounds crazy enough to either make a sequel or even a neat side movie for a DVD.

(And yes, I know they reshot the whole party scene and they decided, rather foolishly, to dump alot of the scenes from the party for the actual movie. I would LOVE to see what they cut out. Here's to hoping they include all of the cut footage in the DVD. PLEASE J.J. PLEASE!!!)

the teaser was shot before filming. That is why there is little differences between the some of the party clips in the movie or in the teaser. What didn't seem right in chronology they just fixed with jump-cuts. Plus they use jump-cuts through most of the film so it wouldn't have been peculiar. It would have went unnoticed by the audience.

the few lines and the random girl we didnt see goes the fact that in the teaser the first earthquake and power outage happens on the inside andin themovie it happens when the camera is outside....

OOO WHY CAN THEY GET THE TV TO WORK BUT THE LIGHTS AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS OUT?!

It would've been cool to see Jamie stumblin around actin a fool with a bottle in one hand and the packet of DSN in the other.Picture her drunk off her ass with a ring of the brown DSN around her mouth.Drunk off booze and high of the DSN,startin catfights,throwin stuff,breakin out into an angry,quasi yoga routine.Haha

I was lookin forward to the party rockin out to some wolfmother... I don't believe they had that in the movie either... and I can't seem to remeber the song being on Rob's party mix either... and the track list was right off of the songs played in the movie....

There's a guy on Cloverfieldclues who claims that he saw Jamie getting into the shop with the Slusho! guys after the explosion. It is easier to catch her now that we know how she is dressed like. Can anyone confirm?

Also, am I the only one who thinks Shneider is the 11$ guy? Laughing
