clip of the end online Loooong time lurker here giving back. Go to dailymotion.com and search for user diggles51 she has the last section of the movie at Coney Island file CV_P4. The quality is quite good but not clear enough to see anything falling into the ocean. Maybe one of you can see it.
I would post a link but I dunno if mods will like that.

I have question about that object, was it a satelite or MGP itself? There's been many speculation, but those two still re-occur.

i saw the movie today (finally!!!) and i definitely saw an object fall into the ocean, its just to the left of the boat during the Coney island scene at the end. It wasn't hard to pick out, my girl friend even saw it without me pointing it out to her.
what it was? who knows, i'd say more than likely a piece of whatever Tagruato are looking for.

I did not see it but was not looking for it and I was a little drunk and slighly disoriented by the camera shakiness.
For the moive as a stand-alone, it was MGP. It caps the end with an origin for those that need a nice little bow on everything.
For us, it was the fragment.
A little nod for those who are foillwing the viral campaign...but not complete out of context for those who are not. Well played sir.

I have a question for you all that have seen the object falling into the ocean:
Did you watch the film version or the DLP digital projection?
I watched the film and didn't catch the object.
Mmm...good point Anteros. I watched it on DLP and I saw it even though I was sitting in the back of the theater (I knew where to look though). I deffinetly think that it's something that isn't meant to be noticed by everybody. It has a very easter egg-ish quality to it.

Movie was better than I ever imagined, and I've follwed this ARE since day 1.
There was definitely something that fell into the ocean off of Coney Isle, NY.(behind Beth in the last ferris wheel scene), AND
I would love to not see a sequel of this movie, but another movie with the same monster in it.(just like it was mentioned before, just like they have done with Godzilla).
EDIT: I saw the regular(NON DLP) version.

I agree with this statement. Just not another hand held one! I had to look away too many times.

Well that settles that, then. I must have just missed it. Damn it.
EDIT: To fix quotes errors.

I'm with Anteros on this one. I won't deny that there is, or isn't, something falling from the sky; even knowing to look for it though, I didn't see a darned thing. Poo.

Searched for it, found Diggles... nothing. This user hasn't posted a darned video. This is your cue with the "They must have taken it down" or "I'm a liar. Sorry."

uhm, he says the "concept" for the monster was that it was a baby in the sea for thousands of years. so that can be the idea behind its behavior and movements, not that it literally WAS in the a baby and in the ocean that long. anyone else laugh at how Hud was basically saying everything that has been discussed about the monster and its origins? Came from space...lived in the ocean for thousands of years, i think he even said something like military created or something of that nature. i got a chuckle out of it

Neither did I while also looking at the water. Is it the object is not falling from top of frame to the ocean and it just right above the ocean when the camera is turned?
