 		damn! i heard that small voice in my head saying "stay! there must be something during/at the end of the credits." but nooooo, i just had to leave Embarassed
haha im gonna have to see it again and buy it on DVD.

Me too. I was prepared to stay through the credits....but the kids got up to leave and so did I. Well, I want to see it again anyway.

I hate to tell YOU this but the sound clip venomxx is referring to says, "help us" AND "it's still alive".

I hate to tell YOU this but the sound clip venomxx is referring to says, "help us" AND "it's still alive".

The only recording that has all of that 'sentence' together is one stitched together of the same single sound played first as originally heard then reversed back to it's natural state, as they explained in the post where the sound is found:

That file in that post is NOT how the sound was originally played in the film. In the film it was only the backmasked version that sounds to some like "help us" (but not to me).

Who says. If it doesn't help us forward why should it say it's still alive backwards? I played the clip in that link a few pages back to some people on my floor covering up the text under the sounwave, almost every one heard help us, mostly every one heard its a alive and a few people heard nothing. I dont think its fair just to rule out one becuase theres an apparent hidden backwards message. why cant both exist?

 		Awesome movie. Waaaaayyy too short!

I sat through 11 minutes of credits to see or hear whetever was at the end. 11 minutes!!!

Was this part of the over-all running time? I think it was.

I could have sworn it was "help us" but after reading this thread I like the "It's still alive" angle. Nice work.

(Poor Marlena and Hud! The director had no pity on those two, did he?)

 		I've seen the movie 5 times and stayed for the credits each time.It in no way sounds like "Help us".It in fact DOES say "It's still alive" when played backwards.That's obvious. J.J. and crew wouldn't have just gave us a message that was to the point.He knew someone would take the sound and reverse it and find out what it truly says.They know our tricks and the way we think.They are watchin us right now! that has been established already.
also if played at the same time, it sounds like one sentence, which is likely how it is meant to be played. also, everyone check ign.com there was a story about an interview with the director about something we need to find in the coney island shot.
