I'm losing patience over here... Some couple of thousand of miles away from the Homeland.
Fuckin' Paramount mounts one of the largest viral marketing schemes ever but still decides not to launch the film worldwide simultaneously. Horrible.
It's been a few days and nothing here in Japan. Outrageous! I'm sorry, but I gotta watch it online.
Sorry MGP, but if you don't like it, you can come over here and get slapped two times.

Seriously, you have to see this in a theater, with the surround sound and large screen. Its not just a movie, its like an experience, thats the best way i can describe it. This film is gonna lose so much on the small screen. And i second cowboy, all the love in the world for the sacrifices you make for protecting us. Wish i could be there with ya. Enlisted in Marines in 1992 , passed my ASVAB with flying colors. they tell me i can have any job i want. Then I go down to Tampa, to MEPS, for my physical, and i get a medical disqualification, due to a curve in my spine. Talk about being pissed off. Oh well, so i feel ya man, much love

Ack, I feel your pain. If your only option is online, I don't have an issue with that. I would suggest you stay away from the crappy video taken in a theatre stuff though. If you can't watch some sort of ripped copy of a DvD or something like that, I would suggest waiting. All of the online copies I have seen online so far are really bad. The video is pretty bad, but the audio is REALLY bad.

Just don;t do it!! You probably wont even see MGP with the bad video quality...and the movie is fairly dark in itself. Imagine a CAM version...horrible. Forget about making anything out in the tunnel scene.
I know it hurts but you HAVE to wait for this one.

dude, you're not alone, I went to see a movie yesterday and the Cloverfield trailer shown was still the 1st one, with that SoL head w/o any marks, and there is no official release date here in Brazil.

Perhaps you could get a pass back to the states for a "family emergency" or something.

I personally do not understand why movies are not launched worldwide at the same time. I guess it would be so that the marketing dept can detemine how much advertizing needs to be done overseas to recoup costs. But I can imagime it beinfg frustrating for those that have to wait. Especially since this forum is basically one big spoiler now. I suggest, turning off the PC and picking up some good manga or play plinko or whatever else they do there.

I gotta wait till 01/02/08 like many here...
I feel sorry for Matt Horvath ...
But i dont care to much about spoilers and such...
It's never gonna' effect the way the movie 'experience' plays out...
Dont stress...
It will come...and when it does...we will want more...
