Actually youre totally wrong here, Hud was the only one standing by the creature. If you remember correctly, when the copter crashed they all started to run. After a short run, Hud ran back to get the camera that hed left in the copter. Thats why it took Rob and Beth a minute to get back to him. MGP didnt spit him a far distance, he just dropped him out of his mouth. Hud was the only one by the monster, thats why hes the only one that got eaten

 		I think it's pretty obvious that HUD did in fact get bitten in half/partially eaten. Anyone seen the myspace update recently? HUD's new height is set to 2'6".

 		Someone had a screenshot from around the 13th showing that height and that his body shape was bodybuilder. I'm pretty sure it was just a joke, else I've got a couple of Myspace friends who are dwarves, nonagenarians and citizens of Atlantis.

I do find it interesting the way the monster reacted to Hud, though, considering the comparative heights. I read a post theorising that once it saw him pointing the camera at him, MGP got upset and thought Hud had a weapon, so sought to neutralise the threat.

The one thing that stuck out in my mind was when MGP bit Hud. MGP reminded me of one of my dogs when it catches a scent in the air but can't figure out where it's coming from. MGP looked like it could smell something, but was confused because it was right under him. Then when he located the source, he made a Big Mac out of Hud.


Going with the idea the monster is a baby, or a baby to out world it may have looked at Hud because Hud's actions confused it. The sacs on the side of his are probably for breathing and I thought I saw them as big earlier in the movie. All throughout his attack people have either run from him or attacked him and probably always in groups. So here is Hud, just standing there looking different then the rest (camera on the front of his face) not running, not attacking. No other sounds really and its light outside which should affect the monsters vision. Hence he was confused by what Hud was.

...I only saw the movie once, but I remember specifically that when Hud approaches Rob when he's sitting all sad-sack on a sofa chair cuz Beth brought a guy, Hud starts rambling on at Rob about being buddies, and Rob gives Hud a drink, to kind of get him off-topic.

So he did drink something.

I don't think it was Slusho.

And in fact, based on the cup used, I'd say it might have even been Sake.

So much for the fifth time being the charm. That's ok, dvd will be out and then you can memorize it right proper, sport.

Sorry for the tone, I just hate when people say "sorry" when what they mean is "you're wrong". Especially when they're wrong.

 		i think that MGP is just a baby
proof here is that MGP doesnt go crazy apeshit from the get go, it looks scared (at least to me because he is almost always running a way), and he looks a Hud like "what is that? is it food?" so then like all babies he puts it in his mouth and spits it out because its gross... OH and the biggest sign is his "roar(more like wail)" its not aggressive it sounds like its longing for its mommy

oh and the Hud thing, i dont know about you but, if my friend was ripped in half i wouldnt run to him to see if he was ok
but thats just me
