 		I thought this was probably a hoax (not by Matt9882 but by false reports in news media- they've been wrong before) but the New York Times is reporting it as well:

 		IMDB shows Dark Knight in post-production... however, what's going to happen to the viral is anyone's guess (and 42's/Paramount's decision).

 		To be honest....I don't think I want to participate in the anything DK related for a while after this. I'm not sure if i'll even be able to enjoy the movie. It's too dark a cloud, and I only see it getting bigger in the future.

No one's making fun of you hear, you're not the only one. I just heard the news, and what's worse, we had just put Heath Ledger's "A Knight's Tale" on when I read it. My whole family is crying.

He was a wonderful man, actor and father.

They say that sometimes stars fall to earth, incarnating themselves into the wonderful and amazing people of the world, before fading away and choosing another resting place among the heavens. May his soul rest in harmony.

According to the New York Times, Ledger was found naked and unconscious with pills strewn all around him in an apartment owned by actress Mary-Kate Olsen.

NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the apartment. The housekeeper, who went to let Ledger know the masseuse was there, found him unconscious at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET, according to the New York Times. After receiving no response from the actor after shaking him, they called authorities.


My Myspace page was dedicated to the work of Ledger and I'm simply shocked.

 		Just to clarify : the latest news says that pills were not scattered about
