Lost Anybody think her dad could be Hugh McIntyre from Hanso. I saw this in another topic. People are saying this movie has tie-ins with Lost.

That was in the footage from a month earlier. It appears that her parent's place overlooks a park, but it doesn't appear Time Warner Center does. If someone who knows NYC could help us identify the view out of the window at the beginning we might be able to tell if that's meant to be the same place. It looked as though her folk's place was on the corner as well, not how the tower was where we saw it later. Maybe her parents live in one tower and she in the other?
Same place or not, there's some fat money involved there for sure.
Time Warner Center is at Columbus Circle , which is right on the southwest corner of Central Park.
So yes, that was Central Park.

According to Lostpedia :
Hugh McIntyre was the Communications Director of the Hanso Foundation, in the storyline of the alternate reality game The Lost Experience, and made several "real" appearances: He wrote to dismiss the "false information" made in the novel Bad Twin by means of a public announcement in national (USA) newspapers on May 9, 2006. He also appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! television program.
According to Persephone, he cheated on his wife but this has been refuted by him on the program. However, new information from Rachel Blake revealed that he has been having an extramarital affair with the Corporate Liaison of the Global Welfare Consortium, Darla Taft, who turned out to be GidgetGirl, one of Rachel Blake's informants.
McIntyre died along with Taft in an automobile 'accident'. See Rachel Blake's post for more information on their deaths. McIntyre was married and apparently had a daughter named Megan .
Edit: Apparently I need to emphasize the part where it states that McIntyre had a daughter named Megan.

I think it's just a nod to Lost, like the Dharma symbol. Henry Kelvin was someone ported as related to the film and his grandfather's last name was Kelvin, probably a nod to his grandfather who inspired him and gave him a camera. They would have named Beth Megan and had her dad be dead or supposedly dead if they wanted it to connect completely.

Why does anyone think Beth is possibly related to anything in the Lost Experience? It just seems so totally unlikely and a waste of time.

Jumping away completley from the "Lost" view.... Beth works on wall street. She could be loaded all by herself, though her 'rents digs are pretty schwenky.

Mostly fun, ***NYC***. I dont think it has much relivance with the ARG (unless she is somehow connected to Lost).

Just my opinion but if Beth's family owns two apartments in the Time Warner Center they are very, very wealthy. The apartments are condos so you don't have to be approved by a co-op board, but they still cost a lot.
A two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is listed at $9,800,000 a drop from its initial offering of $10,000,000.
I'm not sure where the interior of Beth's (or her family) apartment was filmed though, I thought the interior shots were from another building.

View from the base of Time Warner Center out at Central Park. Note that the skyscrapers are on the right and the park is on the left, JUST LIKE FROM BETH'S PLACE.
Rob also says repeatedly she lives on Columbus Circle, which is where Time Warner Center is located.
Now, to finish this, here's a pic of Time Warner Center:

Here's some pics of Time Warner Center (Beth's place) from the second trailer:

Both towers are part of the Center. It appears that half of the windows on the lower portion are blown out due to the northern tower's lean.

did any of you happen to notice where beth'd dad's place is. he must be super rich if he has an apartment that high up near central park...btw the building that the apartment was leaning onto was that trump tower? the lobby looked familiar.
Beth's apartment (at least the first scenes) was filmed at Guy Benhamou's residence, Trump Int'l Hotel & Tower, apt 26D.

Which would explain why the view was from a point further north than the actual Time Warner Center would have given. Also explains the obvious ground floor difference.
